I had been recommended to go to Dr. Nick by a friend and after researching him online, I finally made an appointment. He is one of a kind dentist and ahead of his time with his knowledge and technique. It is awesome we have such a dentist in this area! The office is really nice and everyone who works there that I have encountered is so friendly and helpful. The woman at the front desk is so warm and friendly. The dental hygienist I had clean my teeth was very friendly and funny. Dr. Nick knows what he is doing and is very honest with you - which I greatly appreciate. I highly recommend them!

I wasn't feeling particularly anxious, but I was told it was free, so I agreed. I was quickly given paperwork to sign, which I did willingly, though I should have taken more time to read it. What was not explained to me verbally was that this involved an injection in my neck. When I realized that, I froze but went along with it. After the injection, I was told the doctor is writing a paper on this procedure and was then asked whether it helped my anxiety, which immediately made me uncomfortable and made me feel like a test subject rather than a patient. Later, when reviewing the consent, I saw listed risks such as temporary phrenic nerve blockage and infection, risks that were never clearly explained beforehand. Instead, it was described very casually as "feeling like having a mimosa." When I called with concerns, the staff were kind and understanding, but I was told I would know if something went wrong because I'd have extreme difficulty breathing. I wish that risk had been communicated before the procedure, not AFTER. The staff were friendly overall and there were no complications, but the lack of transparency and how casually this was presented felt unethical to me as a patient. While I did sign the paperwork and take responsibility for that, clearer verbal communication and informed consent would have made a huge difference.

I was a new patient (and from out of the area) and therefore I expected the typical routine of having to go through a full examine, consultation, x-rays, etc. This is what usually causes me to 'put-off' going to the Dentist. Although I understand the necessity, sometimes I feel it's just a bit much and overwhelming. I had a small need/concern with my tooth and Robert Hodous took me right in, addressed and fixed the problem. I was extremely impressed at the fact that he didn't push a 'new patient' work up on me and make me go through all the motions before fixing the problem. Over the years my wife and I have had a variety of dental work done at Parkcrest Dental Group, mostly with Dr. Jason Hall. We honestly have experienced no pain. The fixes moreover have lasted. Dr. Hall is straightforward about the work that needs to be done and accomplishes it with skill and finesse. Parkcrest is a smooth operation with competent technicians, cordial receptionists, and superb dentists. That this has been a successful dental practice for 50 years is no surprise. Today I was in for a couple of fillings and a cap. While I don't look forward to having my teeth worked on, this has been the best dental experience I've ever had.

Dentists are trained to clean around ortho. They should want the best care for their patients and they won't do the job if they have to work a little harder. My son saw them regularly twice per year and they didn't do X-rays for 18+ months. Had they done the X-rays yearly like most places, we wouldn't be in this position. POOR POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! Don't hire this dentist if you need actual work. They'll only provide service for easy/lazy work. I removed my whole family and we'll be going somewhere else. I gave them the benefit of the doubt the first time they told my son he needed a root canal. Referred us to a specialist. The specialist wanted to save the tooth since my son was young. This same dentist office refused to do the filling. The root canal specialist had to do my son's filling bc the dentist refused to do the work. I've never in my life hired a professional service and had them refuse to do their job! Not once, but twice. DO NOT GO TO THIS DENTIST!!!!! I was very concerned about finding a good dentist to re-cement the veneer because I didn't want it to be damaged or destroyed by someone that wasn't experienced in working with veneers. My previous career was in dentistry so I know the good from the bad. Knowing what I know about dentistry is also my reason for concern about finding a skilled dentist in a resort area. Luckily, Branson has a lot of entertainers that apparently attract some dentists with skills in cosmetic dentistry. Therefore, my lucky day! Dr. Willard's staff was great. They set an appointment for early the next morning and I received good quality care by a professional staff. The office was nice and clean with modern equipment. The amount I paid was about the same as I would have paid with my regular dentist at home. If I lived in the area this would be my new dentist. Should I ever have another dental emergency while in the area, I now have total confidence in this practice. Many thanks to Dr. Willard and his staff. She came out almost in tears and I could tell right away something was wrong. She said the woman who cleaned her teeth was rough and the dentist who came in frightened her (her words were "she was like a mob boss"). The dentist didn't come out to let me know anything (if she did or didn't have any cavities, any additional preventative care needed, if my daughter needed to be doing anything different, if she had good dental health, etc..) which is what their previous dentist always did. When we got home she said it felt like there was cement on her teeth and I noticed some white stuff caked on. It seems like they overbook and I'm guessing they only do 1 cleaning at a time based on the waiting times I saw. On a positive note, the front desk people were very friendly.
