Everyone at this venue is so friendly. It was our first time visiting a club like this and the door staff were friendly but straightforward in explaining the rules - no touching, no propositioning, no photos or videos, just generally be respectful to the dancers. All fair enough. They also gave us a tour of the venue, which spans 3 floors. The ground floor is just where you buy your tickets and leave your coats. It's mandatory that you remove outer coats, and it costs £2 for them to take care of each coat in their cloakroom for you. Although it's a "gentleman's club", women are more than welcome as customers and I was treated very respectfully by everyone. I also wasn't the only female customer that night, which was something I had been worried about.
The first floor is the main club floor, with bar, mainstage and lots of seating. The drinks aren't that expensive considering the entertainment on offer while you drink them. There was a show on the mainstage pretty much constantly while we were there, and the dancers were all extremely gorgeous and go topless on stage. Their outfits were all extremely sexy and a real tease to watch. Every so often the DJ will announce 2-for-1 dances, so you'll get 2 songs with one girl for the price of one song. I was under the impression that it was possible to get a topless dance rather than full nude for £10 instead of £20, but it seems like this isn't the done thing and doesn't count as part of the 2-for-1. The dancer was professional, friendly, very sexy and did agree to performing a topless dance, but it obviously wasn't the regular thing and it happened on the club floor rather than in the private area upstairs. She was happy to stick around and chat after as well and was never abrupt or looking to break off the conversation to go and see other customers.
The club floor is a great atmosphere where you can sit and relax and enjoy the show. The lighting is quite dark, the music pretty loud (not overly so, but expect to get close to anyone you want to talk to), and there are table seats or front row stage seats available. If you sit at the stage you'll probably get more attention, and some of the girls seemed to be a bit disappointed when people sitting there didn't tip, but never overtly or rudely so. They were obviously putting in some extra work to their performance to cater to the front row so it was fair enough. Chips for tipping dancers can be bought from the ground floor if you're so inclined, but you won't be told off or shunned for not tipping if you don't want to.
Particularly if it isn't busy (for a short while at one point me and my partner were the only customers in the club), you will get asked by different girls if you want a dance, but they aren't pushy and they aren't rude if you politely tell them that you're not looking for a dance right then. All of the dancers hang out by the bar or circulate the tables talking to customers so are available if you decide you want a dance, and you can watch to see who is the right girl for you. It's nice just to be in a place where you're near hot women in sexy outfits and you're allowed to look!
When you get a private dance, you'll be taken to a booth upstairs. They aren't totally private - if another customer is having a dance at the same time, you will be sat in the same booth, but of course that does mean that you can have a sneaky peak at their dancer too. We were only offered the 1 song nude dances and never pressured for anything longer or more expensive so there was no awkwardness there, although I'm sure any of the dancers would have been happy to cater to longer dances if we'd requested it. The private dance I had was very sexy and sensual, and totally worth the money for the experience, although I would definitely recommend the 2-for-1 dances as a three minute one would be quite short. Time flies when you're having fun and all that.
Would definitely recommend this club. Great atmosphere, cosy and clean environment, hot and friendly dancers, and much less pressure than we'd expected. Definitely no reason to be scared or nervous about going even if it's your first time - the girls there will look after you. Can't wait to go back! read more
