The PT's are usually busy with multiple patients and extremely inattentive. They have curtains that don't fully close, which means lack of privacy. The PT's spend a lot of time talking and gossiping with each other, or sitting down at a table working while they have clients. On multiple occasions I finished with an exercise and it took 5-10 minutes for the PT to check on me. Usually I ended left early because I felt like the PT really didn't care and was too busy engaging in conversation with their colleagues. I came to my last appointment on time and the PT was busy eating lunch or something. Not sure she was even there because she didn't come out. They wanted me to start on the elliptical, without checking to see if I still had pain, which I did, and the machine would only exacerbate the injury. I immediately left.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Shannon and House of PT! I came to HoPT after a serious…read morebike vs. car accident that left me with 2 broken bones in my ankle, emergency surgery, and months of being non-weight bearing. I had tried another local PT and had a terrible experience, but from the moment I came in to HoPT, I knew I was in the right hands. Shannon has treated me with such care, empathy, and professionalism. She is incredibly kind, encouraging, deeply knowledgeable, and attentive. Early in my recovery, she noticed that my surgical wound showed signs of infection and thanks to her sharp instincts, I was able to get a 2nd surgery to clean and re-close the wound before things got worse. Even when I was on crutches, she thoughtfully challenged me with tailored exercises to rebuild strength and mobility. She struck the perfect balance between compassion and push, motivating me to keep working hard and trust the process. At my 5-month post-op, my surgeon told me I was healing like someone 8 months out, and I have Shannon to thank for that. I'm running again, feeling stronger, and experiencing less pain. The clinic itself is amazing. With just 2 PTs working at a time, each patient gets 1-on-1 care. The environment is calm, personalized, and supportive. I've also had the pleasure of working with Julia and Alberto, who are fantastic as well. I feel so lucky to have found HoPT and Shannon. If you're looking for expert, personalized, and genuinely thoughtful care, I cannot recommend them more highly. Thank you Shannon and HoPT!

She's also very pleasant. When I first injured myself, I didn't know how I would ever be able to walk normal again and even though my recovery has been slow, I'm almost there! Jean modifies exercises based on your pain/progress, stays in communication with your doctor and she also sets you up with exercises to do at home. She also has a great memory, remembering your case specifically from the beginning and you don't feel like you get lost in the mix. She's pretty flexible with scheduling appointments too, which is also great! As far as the facility, it's pretty big and there's plenty of space for social distancing. They take your temperature when you first arrive. There's hand sanitizer readily available and they sanitize everything in between patients. They have plenty of equipment to change up your exercises once you've progressed. I'm actually going to miss going once I'm all better. It's been a pleasant experience after a difficult injury. I'm thankful I found such a professional, clean place close to my apartment. I highly recommend the facility and Jean!

I do not and was shocked to see about 8-10 other patients being treated in the same small store-front office. There are no private spaces--the treatment tables are literally a foot or two apart. What's more, they called to cancel my first appointment with no explanation. When I finally arrived for my rescheduled one, I was given redundant paper and iPad forms to fill out. I then had to compete with three other waiting patients for a chair in the waiting area (there are only two). My PT seemed friendly but she totally misdiagnosed my injury and did not help me feel better.

Not only does the bed heat up, but the wonderful Dr Patchi put a heating lamp on my back for my cramps. LUXURY I swear this was a spa like experience! Patchi is super warm & chill, and SO intuitive with her hands. She also used a tens unit which I completely love. She is so so so skilled, and that excellent skill is overshadowed in the best way by her warmth. When we were done I slowly sat up and stretched my back a bit, and felt pops where I've been really needing to feel pops! She also did some needling for an ankle I broke last year that I'm still healing, and I'm really impressed by how much that worked. Of course it isn't magic, I still have cramps and my back is still rough, but both are much much much more manageable after just one session. I was tipped off to a pay what you can day coming up soon, and I really really really appreciated that (& immediately booked a spot).
