Joanne was so informative about Bob's liver tests claiming that was the cause of his death. She neglected to state the same liver function test were performed 3 different times by 2 different veterinarians and all of those tests came back normal. I took my cat to get spayed. They gave her back to me with a abnormally large incision. I have been taking my cats there for a while, but this last time her incision looked pretty big with a bulge in it. It ripped open like the glue was not strong enough or applied correctly and I called and texted the after hours number several days in s row but nobody has responded. I tried calling the regular number during regular business hours but noone has responded or picked up. Whoever is supposed to be answering the phones is not doing their job. We just had our 7 month old kitten spayed. The appointments were 1 month out but for the cost of $69 for the spay it was worth it. They sent all the documents ahead and I filled it out. Then called me 2 days before to confirm and ask me if I had any questions. On the day of, the process was very easy and they let me know if she was experiencing any issues we could reschedule. We picked her up and she was still a little groggy but overall fine. The next day she was still a little slow and tender but eating, drinking & eliminating normally. Here we are about 2 weeks later and she's almost totally healed up and acting like her normal self. I would def recommend! read more

We had a great experience at spay and save. I brought my pup in for a wellness exam and annual vaccinations. The vet tech was so patient and kind to my nervous pup. They have clear transparent pricing and don't put pressure on you to add on unnecessary services. The office was clean and everything seemed well organized. Also-The staff was aware of the temperament and energy level of each dog that came in to the waiting room. Scheduled an appointment a few months in advance for my chocolate lab's neuter. Upon scheduling, we were provided clear instructions on preparation, price, and what to expect. Leading up to the neuter, we were reminded to submit any outstanding documents and finalized the electronic paperwork as well. My husband dropped our lab off sharply at 7:45 this morning and I was on pick up duty. He stated the staff was extremely friendly, kind, and loving toward our boy. We received an invoice via e-mail regarding our balance and were advised to pay it ahead of pick-up. We had a neuter (with him being extra large), nail trim, medications, anal gland squeeze, and nail trim all for $250. Upon pick-up, I was advised to text a phone number with his name and parking number. A staff member quickly gave me an update on my pup and the medications to provide to him in the following days/weeks. They brought him out and showed him so much love before leaving. The vet which my parents have been taking their female dog to wanted to charge $600 for the spay which was completely out of the range they could spend. Managed to find Spay N Save and used their website to put down the $25 deposit to reserve the appointment. It was a two month wait but the cost was half of what they had been priced at the vet. I filled out the paperwork needed, provided all the information on her shots and then the wait was on. My parents arrived at 7:45am, their dog was taken from the car and taken into the hospital, the surgery done, and they were able to pick her up before the 4pm expected discharge that same day. The dog is doing wonderfully, and my parents are super happy with how quickly and effectively everything was. Four day update: my parent's dog is doing great! She is ready to play (but everyone is refraining since it's still a recent surgery). read more

They killed our French Bulldog this week. They didn't intubate him properly and used too much anesthesia. His lungs filled up with fluid, he couldn't breath and died 10 minutes into the surgery. They had him overdosed and neutered all within 10 minutes of him being in the back. This also shows that they weren't monitoring his vitals. No prep, no pretests, no knowledge of what should and shouldn't be done based on the breed, just no care whatsoever. Do not bring any animal that you care for here. They will kill it. It is not worth it to save a few bucks. We will be pursuing every avenue available to seek justice. This place murders family pets. read more

If I could give zero stars I would. I have never felt so disrespected. The "manager" Julie , noticed that the cars were not on . Notice I said cars--there were 3 cars that were running. Unfortunately my car was not the only car TARGETED. She pointed and talked to several different people and said nothing to me DIRECTLY until I got out the car and said something to her. Again there were two other cars that were not running--my car, a white pick up truck, and a dark blue/black sedan. We all were not running and all had dogs. When I said "my car isn't hot, my dog is super anxious, not hot. ", she mumbled something and walked away. She then sent one person over to get my dog and I told her my dog had already been taken back. She then sent another person to us again who interrupted the conversation I was having with the tech about the actual dog. My partner and I were sitting in the car also. We don't need to be policed, and if it was a legit compliant, she should have said it to all the cars that weren't running, not just the ones with Black people in them. I am filing a full and official complaint. First and last time here. Will definitely in the future pay to go elsewhere. Don't come here if you are not White. The rules are different. read more

They send the consent prior to the appointment which is convenient and there is an option to send vaccination records to an email prior to the appointment as well. I'm torn on how I feel about Spay N Save. I came here on recommendation of a few people to get my dog neutered. Upon arrival the pets were herded in like cattle and taken immediately to the back to prep for surgery. It was pretty chaotic so I felt pretty uneasy but knew my dog would be fine since it's a very routine procedure. Overall they got the job done, the surgery went well and his stitches healed up fine. On the other hand... my full vaccinated dog came home with kennel cough and now all 3 of my dogs have it (they all have the bordatella vaccine). We don't bring our dogs into heavily populated animal environments so this was the only place he could've contracted it. If you absolutely need a low cost option I'd still suggest to come here but personally I'll just bring future animals to my usual vet and spend the extra money to avoid the costly bill that I now have for 3 sick dogs. read more

Highly recommend this place to any pet owner who can't afford the over priced pet expenses. The service and staff were so attentive and organized. I normally take my frenchie to our local veterinarian for shots and etc but it would of cost us nearly $600-$700 for the neutering not including the medications on top of it. Very pleasantly surprised by how well we were treated here! The cost of spaying and/or neutering was all of $75 dollars, which was hundreds cheaper than we found anywhere else nearby. They're also very well spoken and informative about the process and keep you updated via emails and texts on how your little one was doing. They give you videos and papers to care for your animal after they're spayed as well, which really shows to me that they care for your animals well being. We were quite surprised when our 2 year old, unspayed-and-assumed-to-be-previously-pregnant cat ended up being just a chubby, already-neutered boy, but Jennifer was nothing but sweet and understanding with our little one.They even refunded our deposit for the appointment which was so kind of them! I was also quite impressed with the state of his carrier when we picked him up as it was perfectly clean and had no "presents" waiting for us. All in all, their treatment of our sweet boy has really assured me that they're good, careful people who truly care for your little ones. Just had the last member of our feral clowder neutered today. The workers here are very friendly and we found the process to be efficient and non stressful (the cats may disagree on the stress part). All the previous spay and neuter procedures went well with no complications and hopefully this final one follows suit. I have had 12 feral cats, and one tamed kitty spayed and neutered at Spay N Save and have never had a problem. They've all done well, and the nice thing is that almost all of the wild, standoffish, feral kitties have become friendly. They come around to eat daily and I can pet almost every one of them, except one skittish kitty. I never knew that feral cats could become tame but I guess once the hormones are calmed down the kitties also calmed down read more

I scheduled an appointment weeks ago for my two cats. there was a miscommunication between me and the clinic, resulting in only one cat getting scheduled. i called to resolve the issue and received a very rude interaction from the receptionist, Terressa. I expressed my frustrations when she adopted a tone. I used the same tone back, still frustrated with the miscommunication. i asked if there was a particular reason she was being rude, to which she asked the same. I cannot believe the audacity from a paid worker. i am a costumer frustrated with my service, i have every right to my frustration. she is a paid employee, dishing out an attitude, insisting it was MY fault there was an issue. the language from this employee left me absolutely dumbfounded. get a new receptionist, perhaps one that isn't a bitch. read more

You get what you pay for. I didnt want to pay $180 to my vets as money is tight, so found spay & save. $60 and i was able to get my 3yo female cat spayed and vaccinated. She was a happy and healthy kitty when i took her in on Monday. By Thursday night we were in the emergency clinic with a vomiting miserable kitty. $500 later she has a "massive infection". A follow up visit with our vet today was $101. I should have paid the $180 to my trusted vet instead of trying to cut corners with a "bargain surgery". I called Spay & Save to report what happened and they never called back. I've now spent $660+ and my poor sweet kitty is still very sick. I'm praying she will pull thru. Bottom line, pets are family members and we wouldn't try to lowball medical care for a loved one. Please see your regular vet. Do NOT go to this place!!!! read more

Got a super bad gut feeling about bringing them in the night before so naturally, I did some research and digging. After research and reading countless reviews on multiple platforms, I opted to find a new vet office to spay my dogs. Let's just say the woman on the phone was not happy about this. RUDE to say the least, and basically called us dumb for cancelling. If you find a stray and don't have money for a nice vet, this is a good option. HOWEVER, if you want you and your pet to be treated with respect and kindness, this is NOT the place to go.
