Came here for a tournament last weekend and the facility is immaculate. Seems like a brand new…read moreplace with amazing volleyball courts, great spacing, and just bright all over. There's nothing more you can ask or expect of this place. I only hope they can keep it up because this place is a true gem! I came here for an event thinking the food has got to be expensive. Boy was I wrong! They had a 2 hot dog special, with two bags of chips, and two drinks for $8! what an absolute steal! I couldn't believe it with my own eyes I honestly had to do a double take. It really was $8. Oh get this, they were also jumbo dogs on the buns which is just unreal. My friend and I were blown away by how cheap the food was as well as our insatiable appetite. We ended up getting a salted pretzel with cheese and they're loaded nachos. The pretzel was a standard pretzel, what more could you ask for $3 with cheese. On the other hand, those nachos were delicious. They were your typical movie nachos with beef on top almost a mountain to be honest. Plus there was sour cream and I got two healthy packs of jalapenos to put on them. Yum! I can't remember for the life of me if there was cheese on them or not but I do not recall. I should've and will next time add cheese to it because I'm that extra. I mean, for me, cheese belongs on everything. All in all, my experience at the Hammond Sports Complex was nothing short of amazing. It was a lot of fun!

Stolen while our son was playing a game while their bags sat behind them. Us parents questioned why the other team was standing there, but didn't think they would steal. Won't recommend this place to other teams and def won't be back.

It's a money grab! Coaches can't coach the skilled positions, kids aren't taught how to line up,…read morepractices are before the game, no refs so penalties aren't called, and the director, or whatever his title is, is nothing but a salesperson. He hopes parents will step up to coach when most parents never played a down, a minute, or even an inning of anything. When I was told it will be a new set of kids next session, that said everything to me, meaning parents don't sign their kids up again after witnessing the games. Also, it seems like he finds away to cancel a game (saving him money on the fee to rent the facility or field but still charging full price) using the holidays as an excuse and now using the Super Bowl as an excuse when the Super Bowl started @ 5:30 and the games end around 1-ish. During the holidays, extended family would love to see the kids play because they may not have anything to do on Sundays. It's seems like the business model is built on parents volunteering and if they do give them a discounted price. Your kid will still be at the same skill level at the end of the session.

They will take your rental fee, but they really don't want pickleball at their facility. To: jennifer@thecourtsofnwi.com Wed, Nov 12 at 9:33 PM Jennifer - We rented a court tonight from 7:30 to 9p for pickleball. When we arrived, we lowered the net to pickleball height. The man on the court next to us, who I'm told is the Chesterton HS tennis coach, yelled at us, "Do not adjust the nets". I went back up to the net to put it back to it's original position and again he yelled, "Do not adjust the nets", I told him we were putting the next back to the original height. Again, he yelled, "Do not adjust the nets". If there is a rule that the nets cannot be adjusted for pickleball, that's fine, but it needs to be communicated by the staff at the time of the rental. Alternately, the man on the court next to us could have come over and said, "Ladies, you probably don't know this, but we don't adjust the nets here because of XYZ". Four 50-something year old women being repeatedly yelled on a court we rented at $45/hour was not a good experience. In the future, please let rentals know they are not allowed the adjust the net.
