Their beef, pork, and other products are sourced from local farmers and are every bit as fresh and high quality. The deli counter is outstanding, and the cheese selection is one of the best you'll find anywhere nearby. What really sets Bowman & Landes apart, though, is the itself. The staff is consistently friendly, attentive, and helpful. Just as impressive is the cleanliness. They are constantly cleaning equipment and work areas, and the entire market is spotless every time we visit. Unlike some markets, you won't find residue or neglected prep areas here. Fresh products, excellent service, and an exceptionally clean store. Highly recommended.

We ordered the Turkey Pesto sandwich and the After School Special. I initially asked about the bread because I've been to places where the bread is extra, extra thick, and I didn't want too much bread. I wanted a good balance of meat and everything else between the bread. Well, they didn't disappoint. There were several layers of turkey on both sandwiches, perfectly centered between delicious bread that was made in-house and wasn't overly thick. The French onion soup was also really good, and of course we had to order the caramelized onion dip. We ate inside, and they brought the food right to our table. Overall, great location, excellent food, wonderful service, cute atmosphere, and splendid people. Tony & Pete's was a great stop after our walk around downtown Dayton.

I called them and told them that the pizza was still DOUGH! They told me to bring it back and they would finish cooking it. I told them I live 20 min away. They told me I could put it in my oven. I told them that was not an option for me (my kitchen is mid remodel). I told them that since I'm driving back I wanted a refund. I will just take my family somewhere. They told me they would only issue a partial refund if I brought it back, and if I was coming in, they would just finish cooking it for me instead! $25 for a deluxe pizza that isn't even cooked and then aweful customer service.
