They were charging ridiculous prices like 6.99 for a little tree car freshener. Had to go across the street to the gas station to get one for two dollars. Waste of money. Anthony Detailed and Waxed two of my cars this weekend(mine and my wife's). He did an excellent job, was able to remove almost all water spots except for a couple that were embedded into the paint (not his fault). He is friendly and hard working, the cars looked fabulous!! Also if you have a monthly wash package you save 25% on the $199.00 detail and wax package. Barbara at the front desk is extremely friendly and sweet, she can call you and let you know when your car is ready and make sure everything is taken care of for you! I was not happy with the end result today. I paid thirty dollars for a car wash and vacuum and did not get my money's worth. I highly suggest checking the inside work well before leaving the place. This is a very average car wash. I would spend my money elsewhere. We are in from out of town and got the car washed here. They didn't even get all the bugs off the front bumper. They do offer a free exterior wash within five days. I guess this is because they know their washes are subpar. We came back within five days but misplaced the receipt. I showed on my phone that I had been there but they refused to give me the free wash. I'm sure they could print another receipt but they refused to do that too. I usually go to the Ft Lauderdale location but recently moved closer to pompano. This location is disorganized in the layout. The employees are not helpful in the drive up line. The cashier was annoying and took way too long to meticulously cut around a coupon that I had. Then she walked around and touched my credit card as if I didn't know how to pull it out of the slot. The car wash was not great they didn't dry in any of the door jams, and I had to walk around and open my doors and point out the massive dirt. The ft Lauderdale location is so much better. read more

I've been to this car wash a few times now and have been pleasantly surprised by my experiences. The staff was so friendly and welcoming. For my first visit, a little less than $50 I got a full wash and inside detail and they did a wonderful job. Very quick as well, about 20 minutes. The second visit was a bit different. They don't have a menu of services - just a guy that walks around with an iPad thing with the services on it. I asked for what I thought was the same service I got the last time and he said the prices went up. They were already vacuuming my car so I said ok and let them do their thing. Almost $80 for what I thought was the same service. Little did I know the service I paid for was a full wash and a complete detail of the inside of my car. The staff did an absolutely amazing job which is why I'm giving this a 4-star review but they really need to have someone that explains the services better when you pull up. I didn't really have time for them to be doing that detailed of a service on this visit so I felt very rushed and anxious that they were taking so long with my car. I haven't been here in a couple years when it was under $15. Now it is $18.99 for a vacuum, wash and wipe down. They were very thorough and went beyond in cleaning my car. They did a great job wiping the inside and outside with towels. They do not have this offer on the price list so I had to ask. I don't know why he did it but he walked over to me, offered his arm and brought me to my car. He was playful and I had a good time walking with him! The day before we were there with my husband's car to get an oil change and free car wash. One of the oil change options was on sale ($15 off) so we returned with my car to take advantage of the price. I've been coming to this location for more than a decade when it was named Simonize. Even though the business name changed, customer data is still in their computer so my car info/service history was already loaded. They quickly put my car on a lift and drained/replaced the oil. We went inside to enjoy the roomier store and to chat with the people at the counter. (They still offer car accessories, beverages and car wash packages.) Before long, we were presented with the paperwork so we could pay the bill and go to the car pick up area. A team of people were hand drying the car after it left the car wash conveyor. They do a good job of polishing the windows, etc. so it's worth it to go to their location. They are friendly and seemed to care about making us happy. Next week, we'll return with both cars because they're offering a 50% discount of all their car wash prices. I wonder if William will be there to escort me to my shiny car - oh, how quickly I've become spoiled! read more

I've been to the Pompano Beach location at least a handful of times in the past few months and except for a couple of hiccups, this car wash really is the best one in the entire Fort Lauderdale/Pompano/Oakland Park etc area! Everyone from the customer service people who take your car, the ones who vacuum and wipe it down, drive it to and from where it needs to go and of course the people at the end who make it look show room ready for you! And we cannot forget the ladies and gentlemen inside who we pay (even if we do have the unlimited!) and get change from because DO NOT FORGET TO TIP!!! An employee exited the car wash into the drying area with another customers car. As he was pulling out he said the vehicle shot into drive crashing into 5 cars that were being serviced (drying vehicles). We found out later he was an Asst Mgr. One of those vehicles was my vehicle with a total damage of 10k. The Regional manager refused to pay the estimate provided and tells to call my insurance company. I had to lawyer up and in turn the vehicle was repaired by Sparkling Image for 10k. They also wanted to cut my rental off by a week to soon. Attempting to leave me without a car. My lawyer called them. I had the rental until my car was repair. This occurred in 2023. Never went back again. My car was damaged so badly. I thought I had suicide doors on a Lincoln Continental. My moral, they damaged my car and I almost got screwed. RM, wanted me to use his guy. Now I know what kind of terrible! Job they would have done. I have been coming to this car wash for quite some time. They used to offer a $9.99 special, but did not see that on their menu this time. They were also not offering car detailing the day I went as they didnt have anyone on hand to do the detailing. I paid for the $22 (roughly) wash which cleans the exterior as well as vacuum, clean dash, and windex windows. The vacuum job was sub par as there was visible things that needed to be vacuumed. I also had to re clean the dash and cup holder when I got home because it wasnt cleaned properly. It may also be true, that the prepaid car wash cards include your personal information, including your credit card number. Sources state that there is possibly an ongoing investigation into these accusations. Be sure to protect your data and info. For a $35ish dollar car wash (+tip), I thought they did a pretty great job. I didn't go in with $200 detail expectations, just wanted a good wash, vacuum, wipe down and dry. Outside has a bench waiting area. It wasn't crazy busy when I arrived but there were a few cars ahead of me. It was properly staffed and I probably only waited 10-15 minutes to get my car back. The oil change is the same but I use it as it generally turns out to be less expensive and time consuming than having it done at a dealership. However for Sparkling Image I'm going to go 3 Yelp Stars as their car washing (included without extra charge with an oil change) is decidedly superior to that of what was Simoniz. read more

I've been coming to this car wash for more than 20 years. I keep coming back because the service is friendly and they do a nice job. If you've never been here, your car goes through an automatic car wash and then the staff does a light cleaning right after, washing windows, cleaning wheels (if you buy that package) etc. Full detail also available. And oil changes. For Mother's Day and Father's Day, they offer wash booklets. Five washes for the price of three. Coupons never expire and can be used at any location. Good deal! 3 attempts and 3 times the most done service. The service is good, but they are definitely not attentive.

This location is horrible. Too busy for their own good. For about 3 months, I've been going often, like twice a week, while using a monthly membership. 9 times out of 10, they stop the car wash while cars are still inside. My vehicle always ends up with residual soap or foam of some kind. Once you exit the actual car wash, you end up sitting there for quite a while, waiting for someone to towel dry it and shine the tires. During that time, the residual "whatever" dries up and leaves spots. They also seem to use cloths on the outside of the windows that make them dirty again. I've tried towel drying it myself but I end up getting yelled at (yes, yelled at). I don't have the inside done as I don't want any of the employees in my vehicle. They don't dry the cars in the order they come out of the wash which is also frustrating. They also never dry the top as no employees can reach it except for one person. That means spots on the huge sunroof. I've tried asking questions but everyone either says they don't speak English or refers you to another employee who says the same thing. I will cancel my monthly membership and wash it myself. (As soon as I can figure out how to cancel) read more
