I had never experienced this sort of event so I was nervous but they helped me through it and were very patient. I was painting my ridiculous looking dog, Peanut, and didn't QUITE finish in time. Britni took the painting for me to put the finishing touches and I was supposed to pick it up the following weekend at another event they were having. I was super busy moving that weekend and FORGOT. Doh! I was being a real pain in their backside but Ms. B went out of her way to get the painting back to me a few days later at my place of business. She can usually accommodate 10-15 people for an art lesson in her back yard studio and teaches everything from traditional Ukrainian egg making, watercolor art, to fused glass. Kay is excellent with both adult and children groups for art lessons. Kay's work as an artist and a teacher is exquisite! She has been a local artist in the Salem area for more than 20 years going to many local and national shows. Kay has been producing stained glass pieces for many years her work can been seen in many churches and restaurants around Oregon. She specializes in elegant water scene stained glass, stunning stained glass lamps, plus Kay can draw anything at all and make perfect custom pieces. Additionally Kay can do glass etching and sand blasting her work in these skills is also amazing. Kay never ceases to amaze me with her work.
