Someone (not Brenda) called me the Saturday before and said they were at my house so, thinking I got my days mixed up, I gave them the garage code and my apologies. When I got home, no one had been there. Assuming I must have been right about Monday and that they might have had the wrong house, I let it go. On Monday night, I got a call from Brenda who had "just pulled the note out of my pocket" from when I had called days before and wanted to know which Monday I had wanted. Obviously, I wanted that day but again, thought it was an honest mistake. I rebooked for Saturday when she said she would give me a call when she was on her way. Not wanting to wait around all day, I stepped out to run a few errands. When I got home, no calls, no cleaners. When I called (pretty good and irritated at this point) she said that they had come but I wasn't home and that they had tried to call me (I had no missed calls or voicemails) but it just rang and rang. I thought I would give them one more chance so I set it up (again) for today. I got home to find a house with a vacuumed floor (the kitchen wasn't even completely vacuumed. still potting soil on the floor from my son's seed propagation project the day before), made beds, and the trash taken out. Nothing is dusted, nothing is mopped, the bathroom sinks were not even wiped out, the toilets themselves were not cleaned (bowls are cleaned but there is still urine on the rim of my son's toilet and there is dust and other "bathroom dirt" on the tops of the toilets and the seats.). It looks like I let my 9 year old son clean the house and that he worked on it for 30 minutes. I have a house that is barely 1200 square feet. There is no reason that every single thing in that house should not have been done and done well. WORST PART: I called the owner to let her know that they had done a bad job and she didn't believe me. So I sent her an email with pictures. She sent an email back saying that I should be ashamed that my house was that dirty to begin with and then called me a coupon hopping nutcase. Then she threatened to post my name, address and photos of my house so that "your friends and family can see what your house looked like". (By the way, when I had originally called, she commented about how clean the house already was when they arrived, not that I should feel like I need to defend myself to that insane comment) I have had a few cleaning services throughout the last 15 years and this is the worst, slack job I have ever seen. Due to the absolute lack of attention to detail and the poor job they did at the jobs they actually got accomplished, and the appalling behavior and language that Brenda used with me, it is truly a wonder that they are in business. Needless to say, I would never and will make sure that my friends and family never use this company's services again.
