She was quick to tell me that they accepted my insurance. Four months later, she tells me that they do NOT take my insurance and I am going to have to pay the full amount. Bait and switch? Not sure. But I will be more on top of this next time. In the end, we struck a deal over the final bill and cut ties. I would go back, but if I do, I would ask many more questions.

She is a very honest chiropractor that is not only ethical, but continues to learn current methods for her practice. Obviously, everyone's health and results will vary, but I can at least attest to the fact that I've gone through not one, but three (3) chiropractors prior to Dr. Fudge. In hindsight, I learned that the other chiropractic methods only essentially acted like a Band-Aid, and did NOT create a solution. The pain kept coming back. One chiropractor had me sign a 2-year contract. If that happens, run away! Another chiropractor had all of these fancy machines that overstimulated my muscles, making me think something was wrong with me when the reality was it was an unbalanced electric massage. The other chiropractor pretty much said I couldn't lift more than 5 lbs. indefinitely, otherwise "my atlas would slip out," which is not the case. Consequently, my health was deteriorating before I began visiting Dr. Fudge. Now, my neck pain is GONE and my gait has improved. When you're in pain for so long living day-to-day, you begin to forget what it's like to feel normal. Now that I'm "living again" I'm capable of lifting more weight and feeling more comfortable when I'm on the computer for long periods of time. He is also quite frank, which may be off-putting to some but is appreciated if you want the possibly grim truth about your condition without being given false hope. However, if you are coming to him as someone who has received a fatal diagnosis, as my family member did, you will find his services dwindle as the patient does. And what I mean by that is the distinct impression that he will not be making money off of the patient after a certain point and becomes hard to reach when the going gets tough. He seems to give plenty of attention when you are still healthy enough to keep paying, but if you are terminal he tries to milk it up front. As my family member declined, he pawned us off on his staff instead of giving the direct attention he did in the beginning. But if you can afford the high cost of his care and are not terminal it's probably worth trying him out.
