However, we were very glad that we did as we took photos at the university where we met, and we got to know Aaron a bit as our wedding photographer and vice versa. For our wedding, we hired Aaron and a second shooter since we did not have a videographer. We were…read morelucky enough to find him on Yelp for our engagement photos, and in mid-November of 2024 he braved the chill of Palomar Mountain to take spectacular photos of us. Nonstop compliments from friends and family, and received much quicker than anticipated. Once we got into wedding planning, Shaun was the obvious choice for our photography needs. Along with his second shooter Jess (Jessica Christie Photography), he again knocked it out of the park. Couldn't have asked for more perfect photos. On a more personal note, Shaun is the above-and-beyond type of person to take the absolute best shots possible. Like, fixing the boutonniere on my suit himself for the exact right angle, or gently shoo'ing away stinkbugs while helping my wife to re-tie her wedding shoes type of person. I had to re-crop and edit majority of all photos as best I could as all the edits completely washed out our skin tone, the colors of the sky etc. I asked for the raws so I could just edit them myself from scratch and it's been 2 weeks and still haven't received them. Didn't remind us or inform to take phones/wallets out of pockets so those just look lovely in all our photos **sarcasm**. Book with someone else who knows what they're doing and takes their time on special memories like this. Updating my review! Got some of the raws back a day after making my review, which was nice of her to send as she said she didn't usually do so, but the quality of the photos look like they were taken on an iPhone..it was nice to see some of the photos that didn't come through as finals. Aside from how the photos came out, the one positive was that Anel was easy to communicate with and nice overall!!
