I'm not impressed with the procedure at SPARK. My son went to the clinic in Brampton and saw someone, not medically capable of assessing him. He didn't see a Dr. or registered staff member. The person he saw didn't check his medical history, he suffers from bipolar disorder with extreme depression and manic episodes, and was told to smoke cannabis which triggered him into psycocis. It fragmented his thinking and I had to get a judge to sign a Form 2 to have him put into the hospital. Extremely irresponsible in my opinion and not even worth 1 star. read more

I visited spark cannabis last year for multiple medical conditions. I didn't want to take prescription drugs for said illnesses so I went with Spark. My first impression was that it was a scam. Canadian medical law states that a doctor must see the patient in order to prescribe medication. I never saw a doctor yet they gave me two prescriptions. One scrip for a grow license and the other for cannabis. They ripped me off my charging me $500 for a grow licence stating that it was the paperwork I was paying for but then it was my responsibility to fill out my own paperwork. I verified with each staff member I spoke with that the $500 was a one time thing. I checked this with at least 4 staff members. Now that I'm up for a licence renewal they're trying to charge me an additional $500. This company is a fraud and they do business in bad faith. I will be notifying the Canadian medical board about their illegal practices as well as putting up this review in as many places as possible. Stay away from this "business". They will say whatever they want to get your business only to turn around and take advantage of you later, leaving you without your medication. What a huge disappointment. read more

He completed his family medicine residency in 1997 from St Mary's Hospital in Montreal before coming to "set up shop" in Brampton.
