We had a great time here. Came in a Thursday , did the 14 dollar all you can play deal. Wow what a deal!!! We will be back often !!! Laser tag , bowling , arcade games all included !!! The worker at the front desk was super nice and helpful ... it was a Thursday afternoon so the bartender was doing more than one job multitasking I believe as she was hard to find quite often . Basically every game worked just fine , often you find places that the games don't work or are broken etc. kids had a "blast" at laser tag... get it ? Bowing was fun , we had to ask for some extra minutes since I have a 4 and 6 year old but it was no problem ! We ordered pizza rolls and pretzels along with a couple mixed drinks .. everything was tasty and quick ! The place was super chill and set up nice , couple sets of bowling lanes ... a birthday party zone .... A bar ... a food area ... and of course the arcade We will 100% be back !!!

I attended an event at the pin house, which is a private bowling alley for events. We had a great pizza and salad buffet. The staff were very friendly. We had fun bowling and played one round of laser tag. They also have arcade games. I have also been here on a separate occasion with friends, and we reserved two lanes in advance. They have good food and beer options you can order while bowling.

Spare Time is a place you want to go. It is like going on a vacation but not having to leave town. This facility has almost every activity you can think of: arcade, bowling, laser tag, ropes courses, go carts, etc. It is like an amusement park minus the roller coasters AND it is reasonably priced. My family spent the day there and my kids cannot stop asking, "when can we go back?" I highly recommend Spare Time for any family outing or celebration.

Fun fun day with the boys at K-1 Austin!!…read more We arrived when they opened and got registered on the computers. There is a one time fee of 8.50 and then we did the 2 race package. It was 69$ I think. They had a deal for 79 for 2 races with 20$ game play and an order of strips or burger but we had already eaten. The gentleman then did a little safety orientation and we got helmets and were off to our carts. The race was 12 laps and we had a blast. It's more tiring than you think and we were all sweating a little but man was it fun. The carts set for adults go about 40-45mph on the straight away which feels super fast. The second race was even more fun with other riders. You are NOT allowed to bump others or your kicked out. The safety rules are easy to follow and made sense. We will come back with more friends!!

K1 Speed in Austin was a miss for me…read more My daughter loved the racing, so I'll give them that. If you're a kid or teenager focused on getting in the kart and having fun, you may have a completely different experience. But for me, no AC in the middle of a Texas summer is insane. The place feels like a closed-off bunker with barely any airflow, and once you've been standing around in there for a while, it becomes miserable. I'm not even talking about "a little warm." I mean genuinely uncomfortable to the point where it takes away from the experience. If I'm paying that much for indoor entertainment, I should not feel like I'm being slow-cooked while I wait. The racing itself may be fun, and clearly my daughter enjoyed it, but I personally wouldn't spend my money here again during the summer unless they fix the cooling situation.

Exceeded expectations…read more    We had a blast.  Let me start with a few things because some context for an experience like this might help someone else decide if they want to do it or not.  I am not a gamer.  I do love playing mario kart and fifa with my kids on occasion but that's about it.  I have always loved go-karting.  I was invited to the one line racing center by a friend who had been before and loved it.  I knew the concept but honestly didn't really know what to expect.  Well...it was incredible.  I was pretty horrible at it and I'm really competitive so it wasn't easy to crash out a lot and not be on the leaderboard.  We did two different tracks, one which is part of their regular series that everyone competes in and then also COTA with a totally different car. A few things that stood out to me.  The staff was very nice, incredibly informative.  I love driving a stick shift but don't use paddle shifters so that took me some time to get used to.  The technology here is so immersive.  The whole 'rig' moves.  It shakes when you crash, it bumps when you bump, etc...the handling of the car felt incredibly real and varied by car which was both impressive and made it harder (at least for me).   We were there for nearly 2 hours playing almost non stop and if I didn't have to go, I'd have loved to stay longer.  It's an investment for sure and one that is well worth it imo for people of all interests and driving skill level  (they did mention they can adjust things to make it easier to pick up for newer folks, etc..) BTW - I think this would be a really fun team-building event for any companies out there, especially if you're a competitive bunch. If you want to do something different from the usual with your friends, sign up.  They'll soon have some adult beverages available too!  Hopefully you ahve as much fun as I did.
