My bank used Spang appraisal for my refinance. Words can't express my disbelief in their inexperience. I since found out that some banks won't use them. She appraised my house $70,000 lower than what I pay taxes on. We had our house appraise for $30,000 more 11 years ago before a $40,000 addition. She based the value of our home off houses that were up to 30 years older. Find a reputable appraiser. Not sure why I even gave them a 1 star....:( read more
