Avoid at all costs!! I was looking for a house they advertised but they first charge you c.80£ membership fee to arrange viewings. Despite making this payment and requesting a viewing every single day for two weeks, they didn't even send a video of the property in question, or even the other properties on their platform. Instead they arrange viewings of properties completely unrelated to your criteria. The only person at the office won't pick up the phone, doesn't seem to care and would copy-paste a text to you in response to your queries. Money down the drain. I am considering suing them for fraud!! Even top newspapers will tell you they operate on the fringe of the law taking advantage of a loophole to charge unsuspecting tenants. read more

I did not expected more or less. They indeed give you viewings everyday and although that's often not what you wanted to see,they give you access to properties not on zoopla or right move. Same concept than every other listings agencies. They don't offer miracles but I could find what I needed in 2days being off work on Monday and Tuesday. This is still London so all about luck and ability to jump on opportunities matching your profile. But this agency surely made my life easier and my homeless time shorter. read more

Any review here that says that they found a place to live really quickly is either posted by the staff that works at Spacelet or that person doesn't exist. The ads on the site have been there for literally years now - do not expect any service from them after giving them your money - that's all they're after. I called them several times throughout the day and they said they could only help me if I paid - so I did, I was waiting for them to send me properties but when I received nothing I called the next day and they said I have to book my own appointments with the landlords - I'm not really sure what their role is to be honest and it's like the properties don't exist. Luckily I recorded the phone calls so I know for a fact that they never mentioned it to me, one staff member called "Amy" said that it's "impossible that I wouldn't know the procedure because it's very clearly listed in the website and that a member of staff would have told me if I called". I consider luck that I recorded all my communication with them as I had some hesitations after reading the reviews. I asked if they had a studio ASAP and they didn't even bother trying to look for a property they just said that my budget was too low (they could have asked me if I was willing to pay more for the right property or if I would consider a longer term lease). I've attached screenshots so that people can see what they're really like. They are INCREDIBLY RUDE and think that they are ALWAYS RIGHT. Honestly, just look at the screenshots and how they speak to clients and it's pretty much self explanatory. They would rather not help you even if you have paid than make an effort. Also, they don't give any identities of who you're speaking to so it's pretty much like talking to a bot. They didn't even offer a refund or further help - they just take the money, all your personal details and credit card information and that's it. After awhile they just harass you, sending you emails about how they're not scammers and just avoid helping you at all. The staff could not be any more helpful and i walked out of the agency with 5 confirmed viewings for the same day and moved in 2 days later. Could not recommend more! read more

AVOID WHEN POSSIBLE! Their staff seem unmotivated and incapable of giving you the information you need to be able to successfully secure a property with them. Secondly you have to pay a joining fee before you even view a property. This fee is £79pp and £59 per pet... On top of this when you view the property you cannot give a deposit and cannot secure the property, it all comes down to who they think it the most suitable. Seems like some weird Hunger Games style of renting to me. Wouldn't use them again, glad to no longer be part of the agency. read more

It is not spacelet.com but the spacelet agency located in sheperd bush. But the previous review relates to it. A scam, you will loose your time and money. Spacelet is an obstacle to your property search rather than a help : Impossible to have any info on what you visit before you visit it, so you end up loosing a lot of time visiting realy bad property, were jsut a photo would have been enough to avoid it. Also, they made me visit rooms that i could not even take because a uk guarantor was needed (and I didn't have one). You have to pay before you visit anything! They make you visit properties of other agencies, so you have to pay their fees also if you were to take the property! This really why you can call spacelet a scam. All the clients of spacelet I have met during the visits of properties were pissed off because of the poor quality of the 'service' . Conclusion: You will pay to completely loose your time. You end up doing more work than if you would have been on your own. read more

My Husband and I visited Spacelet (Shepherd's Bush Market) today for their help to find us temporary affordable accommodation. A woman called Angela (she called herself the owner of the business) called us to her table. She barely looked at us when she explained what they do- concentrating more on her PC whilst talking to us. Her manner was extremely rude and condescending (even towards an elderly black man that was there before us). When we told her our budget she told us that any agency would laugh in our faces. It was clear that she thought she was better than us. I would not recommend this place to anyone looking for accommodation and we regret wasting our time to travel there. I have never come across such a condescending person before and its unbelievable that people like that still exist! read more

See below - this place is a joke. It is an indian mum and son set up run out of the living room of a house. They are effectively agency middlemen and a complete waste of money. Dont be taken for a ride, you can do what they do on your own by going through the rental sites yourself. Whats more the 'service' you pay for is complete rubbish. I phoned about a particular place I was interested two days in a row and was told 'we'll call you back', and they never did. When I signed up they set me up with 4 viewings that day, all of which were very pretty awful in which I would have been able to see in a picture online. From what I can see they only arrange viewings for the 'Bartlett Group' so just go straight to them..but even they themselves are dodgy. The deposits they ask for are crazy, whatsmore there are more admin fees, you need proof of income and a guarantor to sign the lease that OWNS a house in the UK...fairly impossible if you are new to the country like me.
