Wells Fargo is the only bank that accepts payment in Broward County. I came in with my current tax bill and a certified check. It was easy! The teller was nice and professional. The bank was clean and plenty of parking. I was the only customer there so I got right in and out with no wait! That is unheard of at a bank at 5 o'clock but I'm certainly not complaining.

It only has two ATMS located in the front of the building. Not even enclosed in doors simply outside so anyone can see driving by that you are withdrawing cash. This is not safe at all. All of the other chase locations have ATMS that are hidden from View. I am glad I live near updated locations and not this one.

I usually don't go to this branch but I had business near it so I went there. The normal Setup of them needing manager approval to cash the check since I don't have an account with them happens. This time the manager on duty(Carlos) tells me I have to deposit my check elsewhere and that he cannot cash it. His explanation for why was that "I cannot tell you why cause it's not your account the check is being drawn on, but the check is fine for a deposit, just not to be cashed". Carlos made the mistake of believing that I don't know that since the funds were verified to be available and business I received the check from has a healthy longstanding relationship with BOA, the refusal to cash the check solely was on him. Seeing as how I've never had issues at the branches I've gone to before, I believe I was profiled. My bank takes too long with deposits which is why I opt for cashing it instead, but now I'm gonna have to fall behind on bills because my check won't be available until around Wednesday thanks to Carlos. STAY AWAY FROM THIS BRANCH IF IT IS NOT YOUR USUAL BRANCH. This event took place on Friday December 20th, 2024... at the time of me writing this review it is now Tuesday December 24th, 2024. Christmas Eve, and I have no money due to being profiled by this man. After providing all our ID required, a brach manager Lois, whom we sat with about 40 minutes, failed to submit the paperwork updating our account as we were told by a "cast" manager Stacy, on the phone. We received a "second" notice to update our acccount, to which l promptly called and was told that the letter was likely sent before we had already went in to update our indentity and that l needn't worry about it. On 6/2 our business account was subsequently closed for ' not updating' our account. We opened our account in Match, 1994 in Hollywood, FL. when it was First Union. Then it turned to Wachovia, where we attained a mortgage to buy our home. Later, it turned to Wells Fargo. Our banker Tish, who was a longtime manager there, knew my husband and l and was always very friendly with us. She knew us before we had children, and my daughter is 26. Once she retired, that bank branch has slowly gone downhill. The environment is no longer friendly and the staff, in the offices, unprofessional. It's hard to imagine the insubordination from Lois, led to the closing of our 32 year business account. Zero accountabilty on Wells Fargo's behalf. What happened to the warmth you expect when dealing with your neighborhood banks? I am truly sorry to see how things have go so far downhill with human to human kindness in this generation.
