We corresponded and I was giving all the information up front. Everybody was very nice and friendly who I talked to and the customer service was good. Now there was a deposit that was sent, which I was sent a form to submit the payment so it was a easy peasy process. I was told by Xavier that the price may not be the same but he said he would get it right back to me with unadjusted quote and he did. And it wasn't super out of pocket either, it was still similar so those were desirable things to hear. After the move was done I was given a form to fill out and pay the rest of the payment, also super easy! They made the transition very simple. During the move I was kept in communication constantly. About what time the truck would arrive. Xavier got in and reviewed the area, then went down and they got to work. They already brought all of their own equipment as far as padding and wrapping so I thought that was awesome. That was really helpful because it was needed because I didn't have the time to do it myself. They did all of the wrapping and even help me break down my desk and then put it back up. Took about 4 or 5 hours all together, but overall I will satisfy with the results. I am pleased at deciding to go with this company. They offer a lot of communication, they can try to get you a reasonable rate, they're not hassling you over time and distance, and they put everything back the way they got it. So I would probably consider rocking with them again the future.

I also had to use them twice, moving from a 3 bedroom home to a storage unit on the 11th, then to the new residence a week later on the 18th. Two guys arrived with a large Uhaul truck. They were 2HRS hours late for both moves. They did disassemble and reassemble some items with their own provided tools and shrink wrapped some items. However they did not reconnect my washer and dryer or reassemble a metal bed frame, which is now missing some bolts and unable to be placed back together. There is now a dent in my dryer. My washer is now off balance due to the rough handling, and will cost $150 to repair. A chunk of wood is missing from my dresser. The clip to hold the hose in place of my vacuum cleaner is broken, making it unusable. Mattress covers were filthy from sliding on the floor. Both moves were 6HRS each. Maybe they'd be best at smaller moves, but I cannot recommend them for larger moves, especially with appliances and larger furniture. I did reach out them about the damages, but they stated that they needed to be notified about ALL damages 24-48hrs after the move. Also don't pay a deposit unless you are certain about the dates because deposits are NON refundable. I would suggest they make these policies clear on their site for future customers.

She was friendly, knowledgeable, and highly-responsive to all of my questions. I scheduled my move to begin at mid-afternoon. Winston and Zack arrived on time, with dollies, hand trucks, and moving blankets, and they were ready to go. They were attentive to my concerns over fragile items. They carefully wrapped all the furniture and framed art with thick, cushioned blankets; and finished loading the truck in no time at all. In short, they were exactly what you want in movers. We arrived at the new complex a few minutes before 6:00pm only to find out that the loading dock and freight elevator closed at 6:00pm. This was seriously unfortunate news. All of my property was in the trailer and now we had no way to unload it. Naturally, I was panicked. I was also concerned about the cost of having to hire these guys at the last second to come back for a second day, plus whatever it was going to cost for them to store all my property overnight at their warehouse. After a quick call to the office, Winston communicated the plan: he was going to retrieve some clothes and toiletries from the trailer to leave with me. They were then going to drive back to their warehouse and lock the trailer with all my property inside. Then, they would drive back up to the new complex the following day to complete the move. And here's what absolutely ensured I would never use another moving company again -- Winston told me that, with the exception of a small fee to cover the cost of the additional gas for the extra trip, they would be doing all of that for free. And that's exactly what they did. The next day, Winston and Alex came back and had all of my belongings in the new apartment, and all of my furniture reassembled, in less than three hours. If you are in the market for a moving company, I honestly cannot recommend Imperial XL Transport highly enough. Previously, there has been unnecessary and unwanted drama every time I've gone the cheap route (aka U-Haul). This one was perfectly smooth and simple. Paperwork signed and on the road within 10 minutes. The van, whom I named Gortimer, operated admirably on my jaunt to north GA and back; good alignment, brakes, and so forth. I sang ballads to his greatness all afternoon, to which he responded with smoother suspension and Tardis-like capacity. Next time I need to haul things, I'll definitely stroll back down to CITY Storage (otherwise known as Morningstar Self Storage).
