Something that makes Park place unique is the 1:1 they have with you before performing any procedure. You do not feel rushed or pressured to spend more money on a service that isn't right for you. They are very forward and honest about what each facial and procedure consists of, what the healing time will be, what it will feel like during and after and how often you need to come back for the best results. Due to Covid restrictions, Willow aren't currently allowed to serve any drinks or snacks, but they allow guests to bring their own treats to enjoy. The management coordinated with me to provide a mani/pedi for the ladies and to call me for payment so the birthday girls didn't have to worry about payment at all. At the end of the day, Ally gushed to me about how wonderful and relaxing it was. Willow nailed it. The only thing that didn't go great is that the specific nail treatment didn't last as well as expected, but the management made it right. They gave Ally a free touch up and shellack and they reimbursed me for Emily's mani. I will gladly use them again.

You can use the sauna for an hour, but they expressed most people end up using it for about half an hour and turns out we are like most people. After enjoying the sauna we received a tour of the spa and a breakdown of each service. They explained the different packages they have so you can save money if you want to do more than one self-spa session. Staff was friendly, spa has a relaxing atmosphere and the sauna was rejuvenating. For hours we were both so relaxed and saying we really needed the sauna session. We are very glad we came by.

i was inspired by macklemore singing about a girl with "...1988 mariah carey hair. very rare mom…read morejeans on her derrière..." straddling his moped. mom jeans are my uniform and realized i loved vintage mariah so much that i was inspired to get a perm in spite of them always making the worst celebrity hair cuts lists. i barely process my hair and looked for a "curly hair salon" since it seemed curly hair was its own animal as anyone with curly hair will scare you into believing. some women will tell you that shaving your head helps you experience the world in a new way, i would add getting curly hair to that as well. my stylist, elaina, was a pro and eased my fears with knowledge, deva curl products, scrunching technique, and a diffuser. my curls were perfect but a few days into the cut, it wasn't as round as i wanted and they worked with me in spite of a vacation in between, to get me to the cut i wanted. being able to work with you to solve an issue is the true mark of professionals. now i can reminisce with co-workers in their 40s about perms and get them to show me their yearbook pictures.
