In fact, once I just popped in to buy a gift certificate, and while I was waiting for the cashier to put it together, some spa employees were having a personal conversation near the front reception, and the cashier asked them to take their conversation somewhere else. She wasn't rude and the employees understood and moved on, and I thought that this gesture demonstrated that this salon is about the CLIENT. And it truly is. I think one of the things I really like about Caracalla is that it is spacious enough for all the services to have their own areas, that feel roomy, private, quiet, etc., as appropriate. You are not thrust on top of anyone else and you have all the attention of your professional. They give you all relevant information and really focus on you and take care of you. You cannot put your tip on your credit card, though, and you tip the employees directly in envelopes at the front with checks or cash, so be prepared for that. What will keep me coming back to Caracalla is how friendly and warm the people are there, even though they offer luxurious treatments and high quality services. They aren't snooty, but very accessible and helpful.Treat yourself! You'll love it!

To say that I'm disappointed in the treatment that I received is an understatement. First, I…read moreexplained to the aesthetician that my eyelash tint only lasted a few days the last time to which she responded that it must be bc of using oil based makeup remover (she didn't tell me to change anything or keep from any certain products before & I don't use oil based makeup remover). Then upon putting the lash tint on, I told her that it burned and felt as if something was in my eye. She handed me a fan and said that I "blinked too much" & to keep the fan on. I said a few minutes later that it was burning both eyes and that I was concerned. My eyes were watering at this point. She responded "just 3 more minutes". I then told her that something was wrong and I needed it off my eyes bc the pain was unbearable. She finally removed the dye. When I was able to open my eyes, it was clear that something was wrong. My contacts were completely brown. There was dye in both eye. I was again told that it was bc I blinked & then that it was bc of contact lenses. She took NO accountability. She DID NOT even apologize. I explained to her that it was dangerous bc I had to drive home without my contacts & she responded "this is not a new service, it happens sometimes with lenses". This experience costed me $50. My eyelashes were NOT completely tinted, my eye brows were threaded but only half way tinted. VERY DISAPPOINTED AND WILL NOT RETURN.
