Small in Size, Big on Service, Tops in Value!
    Mikey C.

Secret Vegas Insider Information #2: This is the best spa in Las Vegas. At least when it comes to spas, size matters. Spa Orleans is special, precisely because it is small. And, unlike spas on the Strip, it's uncrowded and uncomplicated. It is so off the radar, you have to be hip to Yelp to get in on this sweet action. When I'm in Las Vegas, I start almost every morning here. I sign in by 8 or 9 a.m., and at least 75% of the time, I'm the only customer. I get the jacuzzi and steam room totally to myself. The steam room at this spa is the best, again, precisely because it is small. In big steam rooms like those at Mandalay Bay and South Point, the steam is so weak it's worthless. Orleans got steam, baby! At a small spa like this, they remember returning guests. I am always warmly welcomed by Gail at the front desk. The staff at Spa Orleans is another reason this is the best spa in Las Vegas. They are clearly the best trained, and most responsive, spa staff around. Professional, yet friendly and accommodating. Unobtrusive, yet available. Attendants circulate while you are using the spa to keep the place tidy and to see if everything is ok. And, when things are not ok, things get fixed. I met the manager, Julie, and told her how much I appreciated her wonderful facility and staff. Keep up the good work, Spa Orleans, you are the best! Mikey C. says: Frankie Says Relax

Massage and spa amenities were awesome, and deserve 4 or 5 stars. Friendly staff, clean facilities, and were able to get me in on short notice. However, the beauty shop is AWFUL. Absolutely DO NOT go here. I came in for a gel manicure and the woman who did my nails clearly had no idea what she was doing. She was extremely sloppy and cured the polish all over my skin. When I stopped her and asked her to clean up the polish before she cured, so that it wasn't all over my skin and cuticles she said she'd fix it after. Well lo and behold, she had no idea what she was talking about. She finished the manicure and kept trying to clean up the edges with alcohol but it was already cured. She also put on way too many coats of polish to he point that my nails look so thick like acrylic gels instead of just a shellac manicure. It was so poor I refused to pay for the service, you can't charge $55 and have no idea what you are even doing. I spent 20 minutes filing them after the appointment just so that the polish was smooth and mostly off my skin. I'm flabbergasted this shop is even in business, I've never had a worse salon experience.

I was going on vacation to celebrate my wedding anniversary with my husband who has never had a massage in his life. It was very important I found a place that would fit all our needs to ensure he would have a pleasant experience. And Massage 1 spa ( on dean martin) did all that and more! Booking was very easy. You can choose to do it through their website or call. I called and booked a couple massage: one deep tissue and one swedish thai massage combo both including hot stones and the private suite (which included a dry red light and wet sauna with a jacuzzi tub and lounge area with a shower). The facility is very clean, peaceful and has a very relaxing atmosphere. Our massages were amazing! My husband and I both work out and lift heavy weight so we really wanted them to work on our muscles. They exceeded our expectations, listened to our wants and massaged all of our problem areas away. When our massages were finished, the private suite was the cherry on top. With our muscles relaxed we were able to continue that relaxtion with the saunas and hot tub. We left feeling refreshed, renewed and so relaxed (which I clearly cannot emphasize enough)! I look forward to coming back here the next time I am in Vegas. If Massage 1 was one of your options on your spa list, I HIGHLY suggest you go here. You won't regret it and you will definitely want to come back too.

The facility was clean, well stocked, well maintained, and everything was in service. Customer service was top notch. Everyone from the front check in desk to the ladies helping to restock towels and bathroom amenities were all professional and helpful. I opted to try their new Aescape massage which is a massage conducted by a robot. You are given workout attire to wear and once in the room, you lie down and start your self guided and customizable massage controlled by the tablet in front of you. It scans your body and shows you visually which part of the body the robot is working out. You can control the pressure, type of music, and area you want to focus on. The robot's hands are heated so it felt like a human was massaging me! I wouldn't say it's equivalent to a human masseuse but worth a try! TIP: make sure to have ride share drop you off by the Augustus Tower. Once you enter, take the elevator up to the spa floor. Unfortunately ride share will only pick you up at the coliseum valet which is on the other side of the hotel so do not order your ride share until you're closer to that location.

That is actually not the case, and we were able to get our services here and enjoy the amenities here. Our pedicures were absolutely amazing and Z and D did a fantastic job! April was also incredible attentive and helpful with our experience. We really enjoyed the steam room, sauna and cold dip, but the massive hot tub takes the cake! At check in we asked if we could order lunch and we were told we there was no spa restaurant and they recommended walking down to the food court. However, luckily we found information indicating that there was in fact a way to order lunch to the spa and we had a nice lunch. Overall a fantastic experience and a great hidden gym. The advertising and website of this place truly does it a disservice and doesn't show how fantastic it is.

It was easy to look over their services on their website, but to ensure my mom and I could do our massages together at the same time, I found calling them was much better. I had booked the 50-minute Prenatal Massage and my mom booked the 50-minute Thai LOAM Massage with a 50% reservation fee. We were required to show up 10 minutes before our appointments to fill out a waiver and survey, change out of our clothes, and get situated on the massage bed. We were originally going to be in separate rooms but they asked if it was okay to put us in the couples' room; not a problem. They set up my bed with the pregnancy wedge for my belly, and it was pretty comfortable. The only complaint I had was that I had a hard time breathing through the little head hole as they layered a lot of white sheets on top of the bed and made the hole smaller and stifling. I found myself having to breathe through my mouth but it was tolerable. For prenatal massages, they only offer light and medium pressure. However, in certain areas I did feel like I got deep pressure especially in my shoulders as I had a few knots and tightness there. Katie/Kathy was my masseuse and she knew exactly how to work out those kinks while still making the experience comfortable for a pregnant person. I still felt like I got deep tissue massage on my shoulders despite the prenatal massage policy of being at maximum medium pressure. My mom said she found her massage relaxing and loved her experience at LOAM. They gave us water cups at checkout and we left feeling pretty relaxed. I did have a bit of shoulder soreness for 2 days afterwards but that is to be expected for getting the incessant knots out of my back--shoutout to Katie/Kathy! Overall, I highly recommend LOAM for their prenatal massages!

I definitely needed a good massage. However, I really did not want to deal with the Strip. Driving into a hotel, searching for parking or paying for valet, then paying resort-level prices for services that may not offer much additional value? No thanks. The challenge, though, is figuring out where the locals go. Massage places are everywhere in Vegas, but which ones are actually good and legitimate? While waiting for my Tesla to finish charging, I found The Spa and Massage on Yelp. I called to ask whether they accepted walk-ins, and they said yes. Perfect. As soon as the car finished charging, I headed over. The ladies at the front were warm, friendly, and helpful. I went with the Full Body Signature Massage and added cupping and the Chinese herbal oil, both around $30 each. Ahhh... it felt so good. My massage therapist, Angel, if I remember her name correctly - did an excellent job. She immediately made me feel comfortable and at ease, then worked through the knots and tightness in my neck, shoulders, and back. She also worked on my arms, legs, head, and face, so it truly felt like a full-body treatment rather than just focusing on one or two problem areas. By the end, I felt much more relaxed, refreshed, and human again. Considering how tired and sore I was, I felt she absolutely earned the $50 tip. All in, I paid about $200 out the door, and I thought it was well worth it. I think I have officially found my go-to place for relaxation whenever I am back in Vegas. No Strip traffic, no casino parking adventure, and no overpriced hotel-spa production. Just a genuinely good massage and a much-needed reset!
