I came here for a one hour couples massage. When I first walked in, it was quaint and clean. There were a couple of seats and a reception booth. I checked in with her and signed some waivers. She was really nice and offered water while we waited. We only waited a few minutes. Then we went to the back room. Love the scents in there and the dim lights. I forgot my masseuse's name but she was good and thorough. We got a foot scrub first which was awesome. Then of course onto the full body massage at a medium level pressure. That was so relaxing and she got every point of my body, even my scalp. The music was nice and calming. After the massage, we were led to another room with a television and fireplace; they offered us wine which I accepted. Overall, we had an awesome experience and would definitely be back. read more

If I could give this establishment 0 starts I would! So absolutely disappointed in this company! Called spa I at 9am and then again at 10 am Thursday and Saturday to book a suprise appointment for my husband and our anniversary. Nobody answered or called me back even though I left multiple messages. So I went online where the have online booking and booked our massage for 5pm. At 2:30pm this afternoon the receptionist calls I figured to confirm my appointment. Nope. They called to tell me they cancelled my appointment because they had a "massage party" coming in and could no longer accommodate us! What a joke. Don't waste your time Go to hand and stone! Bought a couples massage in Groupon to go with my mom. It included a 50 min full body massage, foot scrub, and a drink. The place is very nice and the atmosphere is very relaxing and zen. We had a glass a wine and a nice waiting room with all the little details to make it feel relaxing. The massage was great, the pressure, the technique, really nice place to go unwind. I originally found this spa thru Groupon. Before purchasing the Groupon, I called for availability. The lady who answered explained to me a better deal outside of Groupon, which I decided to purchase (couples massage) . Booking was smooth and easy When we arrived, we were greeted immediately. The atmosphere was very relaxing with spa music and dimmed lighting. We filled out a short form with lot of different add ons you have the option to add to your massage. Once we finished, we were taken back on time. The couples room was set up beautifully and we were greeted by the therapist. The massage was very relaxing and the therapist made sure we were comfortable thru out. My only complaint is the room was freezing! The oil was cold and with the cold room it felt like ice , made it hard to relax completely. Overall great spa and nice experience. Will def go back! read more

Terrible place. Awful customer service. One word, AWFUL. Terrible customer service. The owner is very rude. She called twice to change our time. Then when I got there 5 minutes earlier than the time she said, she reprimanded us "I asked you to get here at 1:35pm" with attitude, and it was 1:30pm. She was awful. I got a non-groupon special over the phone for a couples massage. I chose to pay an extra $20 each for a deep tissue. My fiancée got an excellent massage therapist, I however got a very mediocre one. At first I felt Like the therapist was just getting lotion and rubbing into me, she asked how the pressure was, I asked to go in deeper, and she proceeded to slightly go in a tad deeper. It wasn't horrible, but I felt like I just got a regular Swedish massage. Not a deep tissue massage. Oh, and they tip themselves prior to the massage. Shouldn't you be tipped on how well your service was? I can get a deep tissue elsewhere. read more

I was referred to Dane Stadnik at Island City Spas through another spa place that only repairs Jacuzzi where mine is a Clarity Spa made my Masters. When I called Dane said he was on a job site and asked if he could call me back in about a half an hour. He did and ended up coming right over within the hour. The owner really needs to be alerted as to what kind of people are running his/her establishment. She hung up on me twice and told me she had better things to do than help me with an issue. I have never spoke to someone so disrespectful and with such little class and education. I would definitely warn everyone to stay far away from this business, there are hundreds of massage places in the area to have to subject yourself to such poor behavior. The worst customer service ever and false advertisement that can be punished by the law! Purchase groupon for couple massage for me and husband (groupon page didn't mention ANYTHING about voucher not being valid on specific day, though other spas usually out exclusions). When called the spa to make an appointment for Sunday (I work every other day of the week) had to hear from a very rude receptionist that they don't accept Groupon on Sunday and that they actually closed every other Sunday (groupon had no such information, which means the owner of the spa or whoever is responsible for this advertisment didn't put any restrictions on voucher, plus they website says they open Sunday 12pm -5pm). Very disappointed by this customer service, False Advertisment and not being able to get relaxation massage!!! If they would mention on Groupon that voucher isn't valid on Sunday's- I would never buy this promotion! I would never recommend this place to anyone. P.S. I purchased a Groupon for a couples massage here. The massage was good, not great. Definitely not the best I have ever had. My friend's therapist walked out 4 times during the massage. Neither of our therapists knew how to properly drape. My therapist stretched me without asking if I wanted it or not. She was stretching my legs without covering me with the sheet. At one point I wasn't sure of I was getting a massage or going to the gynecologist. The therapists need some training on professionalism. Neither of us left relaxed. I was surprised by my best friend to get a side by side massage at Spa I... I had never heard of them and was actually a little apprehensive of going (my friend ended up not feeling well and had me still go to my massage without her) alone to get a massage. We ended up calling to try and move our appts due to her feeling under the weather, I called twice (during working hours) and no one answered. I decided to call again and this time someone answered they were friendly and open to my pushing my appt back to a later time so that I wouldn't arrive late. When I arrived to the small plaza I was still weary BUT as soon as I opened the door I was immediately welcomed by the wonderful aroma and energy of the spa. A young lady welcomed me and had me sign in, I asked her for what my friend had purchased for me (1 hr Swedish massage with a foot scrub) I ended up upgrading to a deep tissue and asked if I could get an extra massage on my feet instead of the foot scrub considering my face I end and I had just gotten pedicures before my arrival. She easily accommodated my wishes. She then introduced me to Laddie (I think of her as an Angel with magical hands) she was warm and had me undress and lay on the table. The room had classical music playing and a warm feel to it, she was everything and more I could ever want. She made sure the pressure of her massage was always tender and yet strong. I am a hair stylist and am on my feet all day, i let her know of my concerns and requested a little extra time on my hands and feet. She LITERALLY gave me the best massage I have ever gotten! The spa was warm, very clean and aromatic everything I could want. I even requested to see the couples massage room and booked a couples massage for myself and my husband for in a month... I will review again after my next visit and hopefully my first experience was not a fluke! They have potential for the 5 stars! read more

My husband and I had a couples massage here and it was absolutely wonderful. The two ladies did a wonderful job! We had a foot scrub and a full body relaxation massage which was definitely relaxing. They have us tea and a glass of champagne. The place Is in a shopping plaza, between a medical office and an Italian restaurant, but once inside it was really pleasant. They had scented candles and soft music playing throughout all the rooms. The people were kind and soft spoken and the whole atmosphere was great. It was inexpensive and they gave us a wonderful experience so I highly recommend it. We will definitely be going back! :) read more
