I got the oxygen facial from Gina and I absolutely loved it! If you have dry skin I highly recommend this treatment. My skin feels rejuvenated and fresh ! Best place ever I'm so happy I found this place. I spent $75 for a pedicure and an all day pass to the facility. The pass is good until 9pm. The staff is truly incredible and the locker room is gorgeous. Everything was clean to perfection. There were plenty of lockers, toilet stalls with complimentary girly things, hair tools to straighten or curl, razors and shaving cream, mouth wash, plenty of towels and complimentary water bottles. In the gender neutral area it was a hidden paradise. Healthy snacks like fruit and nuts free drinks like tea, water or champagne. They had a gorgeous fire place, blankets and the best place to relax. By far the best was the outdoor hot tub that's set to 102 degrees. I would highly recommend this location. Totally worth $75 to step into a an oasis of relaxation. Each staff member were incredible and had the best hospitality I've seen in awhile. read more

Disappointing service - tried the Fountain of Youth body treatment. From what I can tell they applied 2-3 products - and that's it for 80 minutes. I paid $325 to have some serum applied. The technician was fine, but there was just nothing to the service - NOT at all how it sounded from the write up. She put something in my hair that made it flat too, I was unclear what that was for. The facilities were just okay compared to other spas. Clean and well-maintained, just not much to them. Only steam on ladies side. Not worth $75 for the day pass if you're just doing that. Probably won't go back, if I did I'd just get a massage, the body treatment was a total rip-off. read more

I'm giving this two stars because of how beautiful the resort is. Not that it benefitted us any because even after spending $500 we weren't allowed at the pool. The spa was beautiful and very clean. Loved the private hot tub and view. The massages on the other hand. Probably the worst massages we have ever had. Our ladies both seemed like they were in a rush. There was no pressure or massage at all. It felt like she was just trying to rub lotion on my dry body. My feet were rubbed for approximately 30 seconds. The rest of the massage was spent being rocked back and forth and being stretched even though I booked a Swedish massage. Really disappointed specially for the amount of money we spent. Could have at least allowed us to sit by the pool. read more

I just got a massage here and I have to say it was a distressing experience. The massage therapist I had was lovely, this is a review on the whole experience. First, many clients weren't wearing masks and the staff never tried to fix the behavior in the coed waiting area. Second, my therapist told me that most therapists are unvaccinated (yikes! In such close quarters). She told me that management is too scared to ask therapists about their vaccination status and won't take a formal stand on vaccination status because of the labor shortage. The therapist said she's terrified for her health but needs the job. It was appalling and I felt terrible for her. She told me that when clients complain or request a vaccinated therapist the client is told that if they are that concerned maybe they shouldn't get a massage yet. She said management just wants to pass the buck and blame clients for being sensitive instead of taking the health and safety of staff and guests seriously. I recommend avoiding this place until they prioritize everyone's health. read more

She is sweet, knowledgeable, gentle and will absolutely spoil you. I happened on this gem of a spa by pure luck! I was looking for a massage in Tahoe and this came up on yelp. It has only been open for eight months and is one of the nicest spas in Tahoe if not California! Every touch is thought of from the valet bringing me up to the spa in person, to the fruit platter, to the roaring fire in the spa lounge, to the hot neck wrap or cold towels for the face. They have a hot tub on the terrace, steam room in the ladies and amazing customer service. Liz was my massage therapist has hands like angel wings! So soft and delicate with just the right amount of pressure as they danced afloat my back like a symphony, poetry in motion. I cannot highly recommend this spa enough! read more

I dont get to get out and enjoy me time very often. What can I say? I'm a busy mom and an author. I decided to take some me time and go to the spa. Right away I was greeted with warmth and kindness. People were smiling and seemed to enjoy their jobs. What was fabulous was the way I was addressed. No hey you! Or yo Heather. It was Mrs Stapp. I like it. My treatment was the oxygen facial. When I was addressed by esthetician Gina I instantly felt drawn to her warm demeanor. Kindness radiated from her as she asked about me. He skin is gorgeous so I could put my trust into her to provide me with what my skin needed. I had the oxygen facial and it was lovely. Gina told me what was to be expected so nothing was a shock. She also used cool stones which invigorated my skin with every stroke. All the products used were organic which I appreciate and they all smelt lovely. Whenever I asked about a product, Gina was extremely knowledgeable on ingredients and tje products purpose. I thought my skin was decent, but man... when I was done I was glowing. My lips even looked fuller. I didnt know just how dehydrated my face was. The spa is lovely (just wish the sanctuary was bigger and overlooking the lake). I had a girls trip to this spa a couple of weeks ago and LOVED it. What luxury. The amenities were beyond nice. They thought of every little detail down to these little nuggets of heaven cookies filled with nothing but goodness. My massage was so relaxing. Unfortunately, the jets in the jacuzzi spa weren't working but we still enjoyed soaking in the water, though it wasn't very hot. The jacuzzi could also be better placed to overlook a more scenic side of the resort rather than the parking lot. Jacuzzi issues were the only reason I knocked it down a star. I accidentally tossed my bathing suit bag into the hamper with the towels when we left. However, I called when I realized it, and being that I'm from out of state, they were kind enough to mail it to me. Service doesn't get better than that!! read more

I booked an appointment facial with Gina, and she was quite attentive and knowledgeable. I've had massage experiences and other salon treatments but this facial definitely set the bar. It was my first facial, but it was much more than I expected! My esthetician knew I was having my engagement photo shoot later in the afternoon, and she helped bring my tired dry skin to life. I chose to have an organic treatment and the products were super soothing and refreshing on my skin. I loved the cool stones on my face, and the extra massages on my arms, hands, upper shoulders and scalp while I had a face mask. Afterwards my skin appear hydrated and brighter, perfect for my photos. I highly recommend Gina and the Edgewood Tahoe spa.
