Ok so the staff are so nice and friendly and the place is clean! BUT i've been in alot of spa and their just ridiculously expensive! Like i'm very sure u can find the same massage and quality other places with less money!

We have been coming to this Spa for 15 plus years. It has gone extremely downhill. First of all, the front desk girl was not knowledgeable about anything. Just sat and quietly mumbled behind her mask. The hot tub and steam room were not working and apparently have been broken for months. The white carpet is super stained and the showers had mold and hair in them ( see photo ). They used to have a nice waiting lounge, but they have taken away the stools to put your feet up to relax. They only have chairs now. Their non alcohol drinks have been reduced to water and cranberry juice. They only provide one hair dryer now, so if you come in with a group you have to wait and take turns. I am embarrassed that I paid so much for such a dump. The only reason I gave 2 stars was for the massage therapist, who was excellent and friendly. Good Luck if you choice this place.

Are the jacuzzi, sauna, steam room Co-Ed? Or separate for each gender?

    They are completely separate.

How much for day use of facilities?

It's 50$ for a day pass, but there is a complimentary bottle of champagne that comes with the pass. If you book a treatment the amenities are included.

It's not a sauna but an experience that you've never had before. Unless you're from Japan and then maybe you've done it. It's what everyone else shared ... peaceful, restorative, healing, warm. Kirsten was awesome and explained the science behind the cedar and warming mechanism -- quite fascinating! I have some pain in my right elbow as well as lymphedema in right arm. After the session my arm felt 10000% better. It was unbelievable. I had no concerns about cleanliness. Everything was great and after the session you brush off the cedar and then shower. Bring your own swim suit or they'll provide disposable ones along with a robe. Afterwards I was offered an elixir of some sort with digestive health benefits. It's available for purchase on Amazon for $179 a bottle! This was such a great experience. Yes it's pricey but sooooooo worth it. Thank you to the owners and staff who make this available.

I just wish the treatment was long because it is pretty pricey for the time you get but still well worth it.

Unfortunately, this was not it. During the session, my wife politely asked twice for deeper pressure, and the therapist did not meaningfully adjust. At the end of the massage, when my wife calmly explained that the service provided did not meet the level of deep tissue we paid for and that she was still willing to pay the staff chose to argue with her rather than listen. What made the situation worse was that the therapist was brought to the checkout desk to continue the discussion in front of others, turning an already uncomfortable moment into something awkward and unprofessional. There was no effort to resolve the issue, no acknowledgment of her feedback, and no customer-service mindset. To top it off, a mandatory 20% gratuity was applied despite the service not matching what was advertised or requested. We still paid the gratuity, but the experience left a very bad impression. Massages are supposed to be relaxing. This was anything but. We will not be returning and would not recommend this place to anyone seeking a genuine deep tissue massage or professional customer service.

Please don't book a spa experience here!…read more I rarely leave negative reviews, but this experience was incredibly disappointing. I'll start with the positives: Alex and Pamela were fantastic. Their massages were excellent, and they were the only reason this review is getting 2 stars instead of 1. The gentleman who greeted us in the hotel lobby was also very kind. Unfortunately, everything else fell far below expectations. My husband and I were celebrating our wedding anniversary and originally hoped to book at Edgewood, but their spa was closed for renovations. We asked for a comparable experience and were referred here. At $170pp, we expected something relaxing and upscale. Our appointments were at 1:00pm, and the spa called the day before to let us know we could arrive early to enjoy the amenities. We arrived at 11:00am and were immediately met with an unfriendly attitude from the front desk. Instead of welcoming us, she seemed irritated that we had arrived early, even though the spa had invited us to do so. The "locker room" was another disappointment: 4 lockers inside what was essentially a bathroom. For a couples spa day, having to change and use the restroom in the same cramped space was awkward and far from the experience we expected. When we grabbed towels from the locker room to head to the pool, we were abruptly told we couldn't use them and had to go to the hotel front desk for separate pool towels and a pool key, while wearing spa robes. The pool area itself was also disappointing. The hot tub had dead flies and wasps floating in it, and the overall setting felt more like a hotel entry area than a peaceful spa retreat. We were told to return 10 min before our treatment, so we came back early. We were then informed our "steam room" was ready. In reality, it was a tiny steam shower with enough room for 1 person to sit...not exactly the couples amenity we had imagined. To top it off, the final price was higher than quoted. We booked at $170 per person but were charged $185 per person, plus a 20% gratuity. We were happy to tip our massage therapists, they earned it, but no one explained the additional charge. For $444 total, this experience felt extremely overpriced and underwhelming. If you're looking for a true spa day, I would strongly recommend booking elsewhere.

It's a beautiful location and the spa to the pool/hot tub is a bit of a chilly walk in a robe, but the ambience once on the other side of the parking lot, is well worth the experience. Construction is underway in the hotel lobby and while not a bother for sound in the spa, it did require a walk around the property to locate the front entrance.

The decor is dated and worn, the private whirlpool was not operable at the time of my visit, and the sauna was literally closet sized. The relaxation room has these chairs that are upholstered in a super itchy fabric, so I went to the only other room with chairs but it is situated next to the salon and you can hear their loud music playing which defeats the spa experience. Oh, and the shower had hair on the soap ledge and the water didn't get hot so that was nice. The waiting room in the treatment area of the spa is better (with snacks and decent seating) but I was unaware of this because the tour given by the attendant ended right outside the door, otherwise I would have hung out there until it was time for my treatments. I won't be back except to use the pool and hottub in the common area as a guest of the hotel...also, I think the use of the Japanese word "Onsen" is a joke and the antithesis to the vibe of this spa.
