Although I really like the welcoming and clients services offered by Spa Diva, I was extremely disappointed with two of my last experiences there. Two weeks ago I got a simple mani pedi, two hours later the polish on my hands was already falling without me being in contact with water (approximately 125$). Yesterday, I went for a shellac mani pedi, my pedicure was perfect but my hands were terribly done, one hand wasn't even shiny (approximately 140$). I get that the prices include the paraffin treatment which is excellent, the different hands/foot scrubs and creams and the service (you can relax at the spa with free coffees, lattes, snacks, etc.) but if I book a mani that's what I ultimately want and not just for five minutes. read more

I had taken my mom. This masseuse Maria was very nice when we met her. While I had rsvp for a different massage that also was cheaper, She sold me the deep tissue, more expensive, telling me it ll be best for my mom. This is also supposed to be full body massage. I insisted on it during our conversation. End of it all, she massaged my mom for about 30min and rushed to the next client. I explained the issue to reception. They were forcing me to pay the full price of a service I didn't get. I explained that I don't mind paying but they need to review the price cause the job was not done, we didn't get a full body massage at all and got half the time. Their manager over the phone refused do anything. One of them even called security, as I refused to pay full price but still wanted to pay my original booking price. As aoon as security arrived, we explained the situation to him and he left them. One of the two black girls that was there called security. Always black people to oppress other black people in the face of an unfair situation. Shame on you. The girl we were talking to was fine. I ended up paying $150, $7 over the price of my original booking service cause I didn't have changed. I should have not even paid that much. I definitely cannot recommend this place, management didn't handle anything and their masseuse Maria is a fraud. read more

So I'm giving Spa Diva 5-stars because after years of searching, I have truly found the right massage therapist for me who helps fix all the kinks throughout my body, and I'm willing to pay whatever I have to for it and her. The ambiance, care, and service is also up to par, in my experiences there. After checking in and settling into your robe and slippers that await you in your own private room, you get to enjoy some time on the beds or couches in front of the lily pad pond, you can also return here after your treatment. It's so peaceful and relaxing, true golden moments of solitude. You can enjoy their chocolate dipped strawberries and infused water compliments of the spa, or they have a menu with a variety of freshly prepared food and beverages you may order from. It's truly a phenomenal experience from start to finish, I come here once a month for an 80 minute Swedish massage with MJ and I do not get solicited to buy any products, nor do I get disturbed during my appointment. Everyone is so welcoming, professional and respectful, I absolutely love it. I have had massages all over Montreal, and while each of them may or may not have had their positive attributes, Spa Diva has resonated with me 100%. read more

Spa Diva - Rest and relaxation at last. - Massage Near Me - Montreal, Quebec

Came here a couple of years ago because I had received a gift card. I like the name of the business and the fact that it's oddly yet conveniently located in Les Cours Mont-Royal shopping center in Downtown Montreal - easily accessible by metro. First, I had access to my own, private changing room. Why this isn't a thing at every spa is beyond me. The privacy, the cleanliness, the quiet - all a perfect start to my day of relaxation. I love that in-between treatments, I was offered tea, water, and chocolate-covered strawberries! Yummy. I had booked a 1.5 hour massage, a wax treatment and a pedicure for around $170. The massage was lovely, the wax treatment was efficient and professional but the memorable experience here was the pedicure. I got it with a paraffin treatment so it was quite pricey but amazing. They envelop your feet in hot pink gel in plastic baggies that continually heats up your feet for about 15 minutes. Afterwards, I got a beautiful pedicure. My feet were so soft and shiny. I would go back just for that. read more

First and foremost, this place is pure show.. VERY overpriced for the quality of their services. I had a few things done here: 1. Vichy rain massage: the first time I got it, it was fantastic, the second time, it was god awful regretted going. They have a problem with consistency of quality of services offered. 2. Pedicure- 50$ for a pedicure and when I left I noticed my feet smelled awful, I think the reuse the paraffin wax...hello bacteria! You are way better off getting a pedicure for 30$ from one of those asian places. 3. Deep pore cleansing facial- 80$ or so. I had a better facial for 45$ down the street from a lady that works from home. There is only one good facialist at this place and her name is Ann Bui. Only book with her. The pluses are that the place is luxurious, great change rooms, nice products, chocolate strawberries while you wait etc. If you are looking for great services rather than luxurious surroundings, then you are better off going somewhere else. This place is very over priced for their quality of services... read more

My friend and I came for a spa day. We both got massages and facials which we enjoyed. For lunch we shared a $20 hummus. Our bill total was $700 with tax and tip. After we left I received a call that we were not charged for our lunch. Considering it was a clerical mistake on their end and we had paid a considerable amount of money I was surprised when I received a message that they charged my credit card without my permission. Disappointing as a customer that they could not cover the lunch as it was their mistake. read more

Alright, I got a "day at the spa" has a gift friend a few people. I had about 5-6 treatments. I felt really pampered in the end. However the prices are way over priced. They offer different treatments, but not all the "therapists" are professional. They are all licensed, but the are missing something special. They give you a cabin to change, and give you a robe, when you are done you get a huge shower to clean yourself in. The waiting lounge is really comfy, you can fall asleep on the individual lazy boys. Drinks on the house. Try it once, then don't go back. read more

I have been going to this spa for well over 10 years and i have never been disappointed. From Massages, facial to waxing they do it all. However i would say that MIA is the BESTTTT esthetician I have ever had. If you're looking for someone who is thorough, fast, and knows EXACTLY what she's doing. Look no further. Mia is super friendly, she makes you extremely comfortable and always there to answer you questions. I refuse to go any where or see anyone else for any service. An all around beautiful person inside and out and always keeps it professional. GO SEE MIA!!! read more

It's a very very shee shee- place! Everyone had a superior, snobby attitude. I stopped after my massage and had three other appointments and went home to never return! read more

Definitely the most sophisticated spa in Montreal Offering a wide array of spa services And the setting and decor is amazing However, I have tried way better manicure nod pedicure treatments in my life I mean for $140 before tax and tips you would expect someone who can remove cuticle or at least can file well. I was disappointed not because of the price but because at this level of exclusivity spa diva should offer the top notch service nothing as mediocre as the current state. And for any one who experienced a great manicure pedicure / massage or facial at spa Diva please provide the name of the therapist as it is hard to distinguish between who is ok and who is good at their profession and reception won't reveal this kind of information claiming that everyone in their staff is 'simply the best' read more

What a wonderful experience! I haven't had many spa experiences in the past, so I had little to compare to, but nonetheless this was a great experience! I was given a gift certificat for a manicure as a gift, and wow, what a great gift! I know what hard to buy for people that would appreciate something along those lines are getting from me in the future. I never felt out of place, or experienced a snobbish attitude. Yes, the place is the fancy, but everyone seemed to try hard to make me feel welcome. When I explained to the manicurist that it was my first time having someone work on my nails, she took the time to explain each step, and make sure I was comfortable. And oh was I comfortable! As someone who uses their hands a lot, the hand massage and paraffin treatment really hit the spot. The manicure itself was really well done as well, and looked better and lasted a lot longer than one I would do myself. What I was most impressed by was that after my manicure was complete, I was invited to relax in the reflecting pool room, with beverage of choice. Having scheduled by appointment after work, it was great to lie back and relax with a glass of wine, while I waited for my nails to harden. Sun streamed in through the atrium windows, soft music was playing, I felt like I was in paradise. Sure, it's pricey, but considering all that is included, from the beverages, to the free downtown parking, to the non rushed atmosphere, I think it is worth it. Perhaps not on a regular basis, but definitely for a special occasion, when you or a loved one needs an hour or two of relaxation and pampering. read more

High regards for this spa, worth every moment spent at this place. A little sanctuary in the midst of downtown. Great customer service, warm welcoming attentive staff. They make you feel special and well taken cared off. Self-care moments," me" time, will now be spa diva time . read more

I do not recommend spa diva. I used to be a regular customer but will no longer be going. Recently, I unfortunately had to cancel an appointment because my daughter (a six-month-old baby) became ill suddenly. I called as soon as possible around 7 o'clock the day before, left a voicemail message because nobody was there to answer, and explained the situation. Given that the matter was outside of my control, it was an emergency (involving a baby!), and that I was calling to give notice as soon as possible, I asked if something could be done to waive the cancellation fee. I got a voicemail reply saying that nothing could be done, but I could call to speak with the manager and see if there's something that they would do. I phoned a second time. The receptionist was not empathetic. She said had I called "one to two hours" earlier something might have been able to be done. I asked to speak to the manager. I was put on hold. The manager refused to come to the phone. The receptionist said I could call back and ask to speak to the manager. I thought this made no sense as that is exactly what I was doing at that very moment! I explained this to her and asked that the manager phone me back as a matter of good customer service. She took my contact information again. The manager never did phone. As a matter of principle, I called a third time to again ask to speak to the manager. She said the manager does not work on weekends and there is only one manager. Again, I left my contact information and asked for a call back. One week later, I still have not been contacted by the manager. I understand that there can be policies in place, however, I think there are also very good reasons to make exceptions! (I know this very well because I happen to advise on policies for a living). Moreover, it is simply terrible customer service to not respond to your clients. I am confident that I would have been able to find a win-win solution but the response (and lack of response) was unempathetic and bad business practice. Overall, spa diva will now be losing money from my regular visits because they chose to be greedy with their policy and not bother to even hear my concerns. read more

I have to agree with Deborah. I used to be a customer but when a problem occurred - I was charged in advance and forgotten as they closed up shop- I wrote the owner/manager and sent the letter by Purolator. He never responded, never apologized, simply ignored me! Not good enough! If you aere going to take my money, I expect ouotstanding customer service. A friend took a group of women for mani/pedi on the day of her daughter's wedding. They did not do a good job and also ignored her when she called and wrote to voice her discontent. It is plush, it is elegant, but they seem to be too big for their own shoes. read more

Worst customer service!! I went there for a couple massage 50min for my birthday and it was the worst birthday ever. I went home crying on my birthday. So I booked a couple massage (My mom and I) the day before. On the day of my appointment, my mom and I arrived 30 minutes late because we were running errands for my birthday and were stuck in the traffic. When we got there, they asked us to pay first because the spa will be closed in 20 minutes. So we did. However, I explained to them that we were stuck in traffic. Yes it was our fault for being late. But it doesn't make sense to charge us $160 plus tax (it was $160 for 50min) for a 20 MINUTES MASSAGE. They can totally charge us two 30 minutes massage and that would be totally reasonable. I didn't enjoy the massage for one second I was there and felt so ripped off and stressed. This place doesn't value customers satisfaction first but rather money first. What kind of spa is this?? I don't recommend this place to anyone. THEY DON'T CARE ABOUT YOUR SATISFACTION (if they care about their customers, they would not do this especially if it's someone's birthday). THEY JUST WANT YOUR MONEY! WORST EVER! DON'T GOOOO! read more

Do I start with the chocolate dipped strawberries and wine after you have showered and left your clothing and valuables in your own private mini suite where all the amenities you could possibly dream of are for your use and slippers are included in the bag you take with you after the treatments. Nirvana cannot describe it, sitting by the cocktail pool being envious of the water lillies and my concern that I had only an hour and my spouse would have to wait for me, not. They treated him like a king. The lymphatic massage was the ticket for the sinus infection and I wish I had skipped an expensive dinner and just stayed under the covers and ordered more treatments. For that brief hour I escaped, it was marvelous and the hostess and Celine my masseuse were 5 star all the way. Think of them daily, am a spa junkie and this is in my top 5 of the best. Most of the staff did nothing but dote on me and at the end tried to sell me nothing, perfect way to do business. read more

Every Mother's Day, my sister and I take my mother to Spa Diva for pedicures. We've always had a great experience, and while they both had great pedicures yesterday, mine was a little disappointing. I was with Julianna, and she was careless and unprofessional. The 3 of us started our pedicures at the same time, so when the others had their paraffin treatment taken off, Juliana ended up leaving mine on almost 10 minutes more, as if she had forgotten me, which lead her to rush through my polish. My toes ended up a little smudged and very messy around the nail beds. It looks as if I did them myself (which is not a good thing!). For what it cost, I was extremely disappointed. I think we'll try some place new next year. read more

This spa is beautiful, however it's lacking so much!! The staff is extremely rude. The front desk is not very knowledgeable of the menu or the prices. The nail technician Oxana rushed my pedicure. She was rushing to go home so she rushed my entire treatment. This spa also doesn't offer a lot of nail options either. Very basic nail menu and definitely needs to get with the year 2020/2021. read more

Reply to your rude response... Tim, Bullying and slander are not tolerated. I tried explaining in private. I sent you a personal email twice, explaining what exactly took place including a copy of the vouchers you did not honor. You did not respond to either of my emails but as soon as I put a low rating online, you instantly attacked me. You do not know me, yet personally accused me of dishonesty and trickery...WOW...and without getting the facts first, and that makes you a questionable individual. But for the benefit of the viewers, like you say, let me clarify, since they are misled with inaccurate and false information... My first appointment at Spa Diva was in the year 2000, before you were owner, for laser hair removal, when that service was still offered there. So, no Tim, I'm not a liar...that would bring us to just about 20 years. Could it be a lack of organization in keeping good records on the part of SD? You did not give me "vouchers for complimentary services due to your blind knowledge of my loyalty", but because, like I mentioned in my personal letter to you, I purchased a significant amount of product there and Spa Diva was offering an ongoing promotion of "buy this much and get this". Both my husband and I found it quite surprising when we handed you the voucher back in December and you said you had never seen this promotion before. Seriously? Could it be lack of good organization or dishonesty on your part? Tricking your staff? You are insulting them by saying that...implying they are not intelligent. So for years I'm tricking them and getting free services??!! I did not tell your staff that "I forgot the voucher at home". I simply didn't always bring it because I was assured it was noted in my file. As well Spa Diva failed to always give me a hard copy..."because it was noted"! Please note (as mentioned in my letter) that when I called to book an appointment for one of my free facials, the receptionist accepted and did not tell me that I may have used more free facials than I was entitled to, despite my having asked if I was still entitled to free treatments. I find it difficult to understand how this happened. I only used what I was given and did not trick or cheat. I had a total of 20 vouchers. 16 of which I used. 3 unused which I handed in to Arianne in good faith because I was made to feel bad that I had overused, even though I was assured every time I called, that I was entitled to it. And 1 I still have in my possession, which I have been keeping in particular to use when needed it most (half day spa). I made an appointment for it back in February, imagine my surprise when I was advised that you went ahead and cancelled it. The vouchers that clients received prior to the new policies should be honored even if new policies have been instituted. That was unprofessional and dishonest on your part, not mine. Did you not see how much $$$$ I spent in January at Spa Diva? Am I dishonest? Could all this be a lack of good organization and good communication? I hope so. Regardless, bullying and slander are not tolerated.. PS. I am entitled to my opinion of the quality of massages or any other service...that is what reviews are for. But you attacked me on that too. read more

At first i thought I would like this place because of its convenient location near my office but after spending about 60$ on a pedicure and having the nail polish come off after 2 days, Spa Diva has greatly disappointed me, I called and left a message with the receptionist who told me that a manager would call me back - which never happened. I visit Spa Diva regularly for nail care (manicures and pedicures) and I honestly couldn't be be happier with the service. Their express manicure/pedicure is perfect if wou want a quality manicure/pedicure but don't have a lot of time. Their express manicure is 24.95...not expensive at all especially for such an established Montreal spa read more

They keep their clients credit card information in case you cancel. I find this classless and dangerous. The place is over-priced, I agree with most of the comments made here; the lounge area is okay but nothing special, plus it is uni-sex. Why i regularly go back - good location, and I found two good therapists (swedish massage and waxing). However I also had a terrible therapist who delivered one of the worst facial i had over the past 5 years. So, I no longer have facials there. -- UPDATED REVIEW: I initially gave a 3 star, and this week i had an eyebrow wax, and eww... this was not nicely done and the lady doing my eyebrows ripped off some the skin on my lower eyebrow... never EVER happened to me before. read more

I had excellent service! Great luxurious spa in Montreal, located in Les Cours Mont-Royal.

This past weekend, i went to Spa Diva for a pedicure. I made an appointment as a walk-in and they were kind enough to accomodate me last minute. Unfortunately, it was my mistake for coming here. I came here for a pedicure and was greeted by Fabienne for the service. She walked me to the back and showed me a few shelves where i could choose a color for my polish. She failed to show me the other shelves that had many other colors that guests were able to choose from which other guests were directed towards upon arrival. I noticed that each guest was asked if they would care for a refreshment but no one asked if i needed a drink or anything. When seated at the spa chair, she did not show/offer me to use the spa chair either. I was getting increasingly annoyed as other guests were being appropriately serviced. As Fabienne continued, she sloppily applied the polsh to my nails leaving it streaky and bumpy. To be honest, i would have done a better job at home. Once i was seated in the waiting area, Fabienne left me in a rush and just told me to sit and wait. Each guest around me was asked if they would like a refreshment; however, no one approached me. I am simply disappointed by the unfair treatment i was receiving. I would not be this disappointed had everyone around me received the same service. The fact that i was under-served just goes to show that i may very well have been discriminated here, maybe due to the fact i was the only asian here? Overall, do not pay this overpriced spa for a sloppy job and poor service. The only reason this place deserves one star is because of its nice decor. You can take your $70 and get a decent mani/pedi elsewhere. I will not be returning and i suggest you do not come here either. read more

I've been going to Spa Diva for years and every experience has been a great one. The relaxation area was renovated last year and I find it quite impressive. There are lovely chocolate covered strawberries, juices, water and they will serve you hot tea where you're sitting. It's very serene. Sure, the services are overpriced, but you do get what you pay for. Every changing room has a shower in it with shampoo, conditioner, shower gel and a bottle of water. And also a thick terry bathrobe too. My long time massotherapist, Celine, is awesome. She is experienced, very professional and always asks me what areas she should pay special attention to for my massage. I have had a pedicure and facial done here too, and I thought they were above average compared to other spas. If you want to treat yourself to something special and don't mind paying a little extra for the luxury, go for it. You will not regret it. read more

This is warning to anyone considering Spa Diva Medical for anything. I had the UltraShape procedure done and it was a horrible experience. Most everything that was told to me during the consultation (before booking the procedure) was then denied by the supervisor when I complained about the lack of results. They seem to tell you what you want to hear in order to get your money (a lot of money) and once they get it, then refuse to do anything about the fact that it doesn't work. I believe that they straight out lied to me about what to expect. I have filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau about their unethical business practices and plan to complain to Consumer Protection. I went here today for a simple waxing procedure. This place is absolutely horrible for waxing. I was there today to get the lower part of my legs waxed, and the technician double, triple, quadruple dipped the spatula into the wax pot. She basically used the same metal spatula over and over again. I can't believe any place, especially a place as professional looking as Spa Diva, still thinks it's okay to do that! Looks are extremely deceiving!! She then proceeded to wax my armpits, at which point she took out a clean wooden spatula. Unfortunately, she proceeded to double dip the same wooden stick into the wax. Afterwards she took out a pair of extremely sharp tweezers, which were hard to find. I asked he if she had sterilized them...she said that she did....highly dubious after the spatula incident... Get your hygenics in order Spa Diva. read more

spa diva, you have a front-desk problem. your masseurs are divine. but your reception staff is lacking in grace, people skills, and dedication to the task. i used your services twice now, and both times, the initial contact came *this* close to making me leave right then - i couldn't imagine how a massage would compensate for that unpleasantness. (luckily, it did, at least in part!) first visit: i show up early as recommended, only to spend 10 minutes (watch in hand) standing there while the young lady at the desk is untangling some rebate situation for another client's manicure. there is not a hint of an offer to sit down (lots of chairs), not, indeed, a glance in my direction. i finally am told yeah i'm in the book, just go wait over there. i am then made to wait another 7 minutes to get to my room. rushing to change, my masseuse is now waiting for me. no time to relax at all. seriously? laughable performance. second visit? i was booked with the wrong masseuse. young lady tells me she'll deal with it, go sit over there. yes, *just like that*! clearly, i represent a problem for this girl (never mind that i booked correctly: my masseuse explained later that as of the day prior, i was on her schedule. so the switch occurred in the last 24 hours.)
