This property is located just far enough from the center of town to avoid the hustle and bustle but a short 10 min walk takes you right back into the action! 4 bikes are included with the rental and allow for easy access for a relaxing ride around Seaside's streets. The BBQ pit on the side of the house is new and in good condition and there are 4 beach chairs included as well from Cabana Man co on the beach everyday! Inside the house is kitted out with a full new kitchen, an Apple/Andriod compatible sound system, personal TV's in all rooms and fast WIFI. All in all was a very enjoyable experience that complemented Seaside's charm instead of being a hastle.

Check-in morning: nothing until 8:56 AM, when they finally said power was on. Our flight left at 9:30. I asked again for a refund or credit. They just kept telling me the house was ready. BeachWalk kept every dollar of our $1,200 and refused even a credit to come back later. The owners have young kids of their own, and they're fine with a family losing their vacation and their money after a hurricane. Shameful. Airbnb was just as useless and tossed us a $150 coupon. Avoid BeachWalk. They clearly care about your money, not you.

Terrible Check-In Experience, Unauthorized Handling of Belongings & Privacy Issues…read more ​I booked Sea Dunes Unit 401 through Southern Vacation Rentals for a 6-night stay in September for 3 guests ($1,800+ total), and the start of our vacation was by far the worst hassle I've ever experienced. ​Upon arrival, we were locked out of our reserved unit. After waiting over 3 hours for a resolution, we were shuttled into a completely different condo (Azure) just to have a place to sleep for the first night. I needed to leave personal belongings at the Azure as I had to get to the airport to pick up additonal guests. In speaking with management they advised it was fine to leave belongings and to let them know once I had completely checked out of Azure. Upon my return I found my personal items had been removed from the unit. To make matters worse, when it was time to move into our actual unit, I specifically instructed management that I wanted to be present when my personal belongings were returned to the actual unit i reserved. Completely ignoring my request, staff entered the unit without my permission or presence and moved all of our personal items themselves. ​Having management enter a unit and handle your personal belongings without authorization is a major breach of privacy and security. Between the 3-hour lockout, lost first night in our booked unit, and total disregard for guest privacy, the start of our trip was entirely ruined by poor communication and management. The rental company used to be 360 Blue. They were acquired by Natural Retreats, an acquisition not so good for consumers! For the first time ever, we needed to cancel our reservation. WARNING to anyone booking a rental - the non-refundable booking fee is outrageous and obscene. It's so bad, that I will look for other rental agencies in the future and carefully check their contracts. We are still 100+ days from the intended vacation, so charging big dollar cancellation fees seems ridiculous. Beware!!

We later discovered that mold was present in at least five rooms. Coming from outlets, vents, and alarmingly from a light fixture in the kids' bunk bedroom, directly above where the children sleep. When we reported these issues, management appeared indifferent, merely attempting a temporary fix by spraying a solution rather than addressing the extensive mold infestation with proper remediation measures. This combination of unclean conditions and serious health hazards raises significant concerns about the safety and upkeep of the property.

The following day at 10 AM, my son found a juvenile bedbug crawling on him. We inspected his bed and found an adult bed bug. We immediately called the owners, who were a little slow getting back to us; they were on vacation out of the country (probably in a bedbug-free environment, but who knows). Over 2 hours later, the on-site property manager inspected the unit, and he could not find any bugs. Still, to be safe, they had a cleaning crew change the linens on the infested bed and scheduled an exterminator to inspect the unit the next day. We requested to be notified when the inspection was taking place. July 19, 2 PM We received a text message from the owners that the exterminators found evidence of bedbugs in all three bedrooms and that we had to vacate the premises for treatment. I called the exterminator, and he provided additional details on the infestation. He had found multi-generational activity in all of the beds, and in his professional opinion, the unit had been infested for at least 4-6 weeks. The owners of Villa Grove Properties are greedy, terrible people. They ruined our vacation and said they would graciously refund nearly $7,400 in rental fees. However, after they sat on our refund, I had to dispute the charges with my credit card company. They said they would refund me on 7/19, I opened a dispute on 7/25, and it was resolved in my favor on 7/30. Our family gets to take a single vacation a year, and they ruined this year's trip. I asked them for additional compensation to address our travel, food, and bed bug inspection at our home. They actually had the gall to say... "We are back in the country next week, I'm just not sure what else we can do. Other than a full refund, we've also got the costs of replacing bedding, pest control treatments, and other canceled reservations for the next coming weeks all of which will total over $10,000 in additional losses. It's an absolute nightmare for everyone." Are you kidding me! How tone deaf can you get? This $3M condo is only one of the units they own. They had one job, provide a clean, bedbug-free condo in exchange for $7,400. Their laziness and negligence ruined our vacation, cost our family several thousand in expenses, and I still have to worry about how much it will cost me if these bedbugs get into my home. I can't stress enough how valuable it is to purchase an annual SP pass, Florida has so many beautiful parks if you are traveling across the state this annual pass will more than pay for itself. Visiting this park during the off season was especially rewarding, no crowds so we practically had the entire beach to ourselves, the white sugar sand and clear warm water was the perfect place to be on a warm fall day. Although shelling was a disappointment the abundance of wildlife and native plants more than made up for it. This is definitely a state park I'd return too, maybe spend a few days here in the RV when in the area...
