I can't say enough great things about Megs and her sugaring services! From the moment you walk in, she makes you feel comfortable and cared for. She's incredibly professional, knowledgeable, and genuinely kind -- which makes the whole experience so much better. She offers flexible scheduling that works great for busy people. The booking app is a breeze to use, and it makes managing appointments really convenient. I also love that Megs is a woman-owned small business -- supporting her feels like supporting the kind of local, passionate entrepreneurship our community needs more of. If you're thinking about trying sugaring, definitely book with Megs. You won't regret it! read more

Megs is very conscious of her work and you can tell that she is passionate about her services. The atmosphere is warm and relaxing.

I've been getting sugared with Meg for a while now and she's hands down the best! She is quick, really makes you feel comfortable and is very knowledgeable. Her studio is clean and comfortable. Highly recommended! read more

If you are thinking about getting lash extension, make your appointment now with Mel's. There is a reason her appointments book four to six weeks out. My lashes have never lasted as long as they have after visiting the Body Bar HawaiI. They are soft and still look great after three weeks. Her salon is cute and has a good vibe. I would highly recommend her for lash extensions. read more

The Body Bar Hawaii has by far been my favorite waxing experiences in the area! I have been extremely happy with my services done! I regularly get Brazilian and half leg waxes and Meg is SUPER thoroughly and I LOVE that she offers sugaring as I am more sensitive to hard wax with the strips. Her space is very clean and very welcoming and comfortable! I would absolutely recommend this business! read more

Love Meg! She's amazing!!!! Happy I found you after my bad experience in ewa beach.... Meg is the BEST! read more

I've been going to The Body Bar Hawaii for years now and it's the only place I would go! Megs is always consistent, she remembers exactly what you want from previous appointments. She is professional and makes you feel extremely comfortable. Even with services like bikini waxing. She takes great pride in her work and double checks that everything is done well! Bonus is you get to see the cutest doggy ever while there! read more

Unreliable service. She claimed to have sent me a text to move my appointment but I never received it. She never apologized for the inconvenience or her rudeness. She did the same to my friend TWICE and never apologized for being 30 MINUTES late. Find another place. read more

Professional #1 Atmosphere #1 Quality of work #1 Pride in the work provided #1 Folks that comment on how gorgeous your lashes are #1 Having to visit another salon due spending time away from Southern Pines? The worst. Tough to experience the best level of customer service & then pay for ($300) for a service that left me looking like Barbie & her glued on lashes. Megs is professional who is passionate about her work. I 100% recommended her (I must, because this review will probably make my getting appointments even more difficult ). She's the best! read more

Fantastic experience with every visit, you walk into Hawaii by just stepping into the door. Her dedication to your personal needs or her knowledge in recommending products or services makes you feel extra special. I can't say enough good things and am lucky I found Meg and this bit of HAWAII locally. You will not be disappointed by any services she offers. read more

Megs is amazing! So knowledgeable and does everything to keep you comfortable. The entire experience is relaxing.

Very happy Megs' sugaring services! She does an amazing job! Location of her business is great, and her studio is very beautiful and clean.

Been coming to the Body Bar Hawaii for over a year now for all things sugar and this is the place to be! Megs is quick, professional, and very experienced in all things skin care. Prior to this I tried some local places and also traveled to Cary, NC. Happy to find this this local gem. read more

Setting an appointment online was very easy and fast. Had to move my appointment, great communication. Looking forward to my first visit at 9am. **Change of rating and updates to follow** ** Update** I forgot to leave an update after my 2nd visit. Meg is great. Affordable, relaxing, and just down right amazing. Will be setting up future appointments before her schedule fills up. read more

Looking for Lash Extensions, but your simply "Ballin' on a Budget" type girl like ME? Then The Body Bar by Megs is THE best place for you hands down. I was truly lucky enough to find her through my Yelp App, on "Deals" and honestly I wasn't even planning on getting eyelash extensions, because GIRL we know I can't afford it for the life of me. I was seriously wondering, WHAT is The Body Bar? The name itself sounds inviting, does it not? So I figured, lets see what this place is about? As I looked through her website, I found that her work and PRICE was beyond unbelievable. How can she do such miraculous effort for minimal price? The average price for eyelash extensions, are $150+ but HER prices are average of $80 to $140 DEPENDING on the lash extensions you are looking for. Mind you she also gives Military Discount, Spouses included, Student Discount AND Yelp (if mentioned) Discount! and she combined my discount! HELLO NEW LASHES! I easily booked my appointment, on her website. I had to cancel my first appointment due to personal reasons, but I was also able to reschedule via her website too! I was disappointed in myself that I had to wait another 2weeks I was too excited. Honestly though, before I got my eyelash extensions. I did a FULL on research before I really wanted to get them. I looked up Frequently asked Questions, and what to expect and what NOT to expect, and the DO's and Don'ts of having them. I did this because, for my own general health and safety its better to KNOW what your paying for and if it is worth it. I saw that some girls who didn't do research are less likely to know how to make their lashes last longer and if it is the right fit FOR them. Even if I didn't know the FAQs, or DOs and Don'ts. Megs was very professional, accommodating, and most of all friendly. I felt as if I knew her for a long time, she was really easy going, and answered any questions that I might have. I think the BEST part about this was the fact that the bed I had to lay in for 2hrs, is a MASSAGE BED. HELLLLLOH! Yeah, not going to Lie. I knocked out hard, I was trying NOT to snore. That was inevitable. Oops. Another thing I like is she works from the comfort of her own home, but knowing she is Licensed and Certified that was all the better. Parking was easy too, and finding her place wasn't difficult to find. Megs texted me prior the appointment and also the day before to make it more accommodating for you. She specializes in other things like Hair Cuts, other than eyelash extensions as well so that again is worth the visit! Before she continued the procedure, she asked if I looked at any of her work (DUH! of course I did.) and if there was a specific one I was more interested in and see if it is suitable for my eyes. I wanted more a natural look, but with a flare cat eye like lashes! and that is exactly what I got. I was told I can get my lashes longer next time, which I will! The length of time for the service was a good full 2hrs, but hey, I was sleeping on a massage bed! I had NOTHING to complain about. Also, after she completed my full set of lashes, my eyes started burning from the Fumes, which was normal but she had this water mist that did WONDERS to my eyes so they wouldn't burn anymore, and it was also good for my skin. AMAZINGGGGG! Afterwards, she asked me if I wanted to purchase this Black Diamond lash coating, that helps make your extensions last longer for $25, GET THEM. It is better to buy them now, instead of buying them cheaper online because your lashes will not wait for that. **NOTE: This was my FIRST experience ever getting Lash Extensions** Every dollar was well spent, and I cant wait to get a touch up in 2weeks. Thank you Megs for your awesome work! read more

I have had lashes for several years. She is the best volume lashes in this area. Very skilled and patient and accommodating for different looks. I absolutely LOVE The Body Bar Hawaii with Megs for my facials! This is an amazing little oasis in Southern Pines in a GREAT location. Her place is quiet, decorated amazingly well, and puts you at ease the second you walk through the door. Before your session she makes sure you're comfortable and ready for your session and let's you know what she'll be doing. During your session, she makes sure you're doing alright and seriously has amaaazing hands and knows what she's doing. After the session, she goes over all the products again and explains aftercare. You're then welcome to go out into her lobby and make some coffee or tea to enjoy on the road or in the lobby if you feel. I truly look forward to my monthly appointments with her and wish I could go more often. I would recommend her to all my friends and/or anyone looking for a place to go for some pampering!! read more

I'm very picky about who I allow to do my hair, nails, etc. The same lady has been doing my eyebrows for the last 12 years so it was a HUGE step for me to try a new thing (eyelash extensions) with a total stranger. Now I have to tell you-it was the best decision ever! I am so happy I decided to come and see Meg. She is AMAZING at what she does and she is just a great person to be around. She is totally professional and made me feel very comfortable. Her studio is very clean and welcoming and I enjoy and look forward to going back for a fill every 3 weeks. Oh yeah and my eyelashes look FABULOUS! I like it so much there I've started going there to get my hair cut too :) Highly recommended :) read more

Meg is absolutely amazing! I went in for a bikini and arm wax for the first time and couldn't have had a better experience. Meg took the time to show me and explain how hair follicles react to being pulled out/what she strives for when pulling them. The atmosphere is so relaxing and very private. Any questions you have, Meg is more than willing to take the time to answer and she even gives you an info sheet and antibacterial wash for after. :D I highly recommend anyone who is thinking about getting a wax to DEFINITELY come here!! read more

I'll start by saying that I could not have chosen a better place than The Body Bar. I have been Meg's client for almost 2 years and she is the BEST at what she does. When I moved to Hawaii I had lash extensions and I was so afraid that I would never find anyone to keep my lashes looking great. Well I was pleasantly surprised when I found The Body Bar. Meg has always been very professional and personable. She has the sweetest heart and loves what she does. I'm sad that she is leaving Hawaii but the clients in North Carolina are getting a gem. You are getting someone who takes pride in her work and it shows. You will not be disappointed with any of her services. read more

Meg was more than amazing!!! I have been in the Fayetteville area for almost 2 years and haven't found anyone who can do lashes like I'm used to in Virginia. After a recommendation from a friend of mine I decided to give Meg a try. It's a small but cute waiting room and she gives you slippers to wear so it makes me feel like I'm at home. She had one of her pups with her named wasabi and was cute as ever! She didn't even touch my eyelashes yet but I was already so excited. We discussed what kind of lashes I wanted to do and she knew right away how to fix me up. Before I even opened my eyes I knew I was going to love it! I have finally found my lash gal and I'm so happy I did. She said she has only been in the area for less than a year, but I'm gonna be a loyal customer until the end~!!!! read more

Meg is awesome and her prices are competitive on the island. Its like i hv my own personal lash lady that i can depend on. Appointment was easy to book online. As others have said it's at her home, however it's super clean and really nice. The room she takes you too is a cute room with a comfy (massage type table) to lay on. We talked for a few minutes about what I was looking for, what I'd had done in the past, and if I'd had any reaction to anything done. Megs was super helpful in describing what she thought would look good in length and curl so I went with it. I can't express enough how excited and happy I am with the way they look! I made a follow up appointment right away and bought some product she recommended! I will attach pictures of my eyelashes before and after. I went for a classic subtle look. I would highly recommend Megs to anyone looking for amazing eyelash extensions! read more

This is a long overdue review.. I've always wanted to get my lashes done (I have nonexistent lashes lol) and Megs is the first (and only) person I'll go to! She's very professional and ready to get to work as soon as you get there! The environment is relaxing too. The "waiting room" which is her porch is very cozy and welcoming and when you get to the room it's clean and inviting as well. Her work is very professional and when you look up close to your "lashes" they look as if they are YOURS! I HIGHLY recommend this girl, she's the real deal! Also, setting up appointments are a breeze! I love the fact that you can set up online (I have hard of hearing, so I'm glad I don't have to do anything over the phone..). And she sends a text message to remind you of your appointment! read more

This place is very clean comfortable. She does great work and is very detail oriented. I get my lashes done here and I love them. Nice massage bed, soothing surroundings, and treat to have my touch ups every few weeks. read more

I don't wear lashes all the time anymore. But when I need them for the stage, I know I can count on Megz to do a awesome job....I've never had issues with my lashes falling off early or unexpectedly like I hear from friends that go to other places to get theirs done. Mind u they always pay more than me. Megz also has great pricing. So worth it! It's also important to me that I'm seen during my appt Time...with Leeway give or take 10-15min I don't mind. Megz is good about that as well. Check her out. You won't be disappointed! read more

My experience with getting my lashes done with Megs was amazing! I've gotten my lashes done with other companies before and after checking out The Body Bar with Megs, I have finally found a place that I can go to without worrying about the outcome of my lashes. She is easy to talk to, her lash room is clean and welcoming, and the lash process is calming and enjoyable! I love that she will work with whatever you need to make sure you have a pleasant experience. I would highly recommend her to anyone who wants to get their lashes done-natural or glammed out, Megs is your girl! read more

I'll admit, I don't have the best brows out there due to my cousin botching it in middle school & then each "professional" I went to didn't do a good job either. So it's kind of hard for me to find someone to do my brows AND I'm very picky. But thanks to Yelp, I don't think I'll be having a problem from now on. I've decided to try this place & im glad I did. First off, she does it from the comfort of her home. I'm not used to it, but now I can see why she does it. She can just focus on each client & not rush. I'll definitely get used to it. She has her own separate space just for her services. She is also easy to talk to, which is a plus. I definitely like someone that I could talk to so things wouldn't be awkward, but not talk too much so she could focus on what she's doing. There is plenty of street parking. I love that it's not crowded. Thank you Megs! You did a great job. I will definitely be back soon. :) read more

Meg did a wonderful job and was very thorough and professional. I will be back for maintenance waxing!

Meg is wonderful! She is took great care of me and provided me the most relaxing facial and my skin has never felt so smooth and clear!

Best waxing experience I've ever had! There was very very little pain and no redness at all. My eyebrows look GREAT! Megs is passionate about what she does and is constantly educating herself on the newest and greatest techniques in skincare. I'm excited to try her other services. The place is also very cute and relaxing, with a Hawaiian vibe. Southern Pines is lucky to have her! read more

I absolutely love my lashes! Megs truly is an artist, she's very helpful and does an AMAZING job. Firstly, her prices are the best. Considering her quality of work, she could be charging a whole lot more. And she gives great discounts for checking in, writing a review, etc. Consult her website for more detailed info. Secondly, booking with her is super easy with the Style Seat app. It will list all the services she provides as well as dates and times available. Love this especially, very convenient. Lastly, I have to say, I was just going to get my lashes done once to test them out before my wedding later this year. But...I love them way too much! They put a pep in my step, and I feel like I can just roll out of bed and start my day. Thanks, Megs!!! PS - the massaging table is THE BEST. I almost fell completely asleep at my last appointment lol. I opened my eyes when she was done and felt completely rejuvenated. Can't wait for the next one! read more

Megs is a godsend especially if you live in the Kapolei or Ewa area. Her space is very neat and organized and overall it's a nice atmosphere.
