    Chicken pita plate
    Mary T.

We were in the mood for a good meal with friends, to be specific we were all in the mood for Greek food. We were suprised to see that this place is false from their name to their dishes... This was far from Authentic Greek food or souvlaki. The Waitress was pleasant at the beginning, very helpful. But we were surprised when she was totally mia towards the end and even took the glasses of water off the table... We asked her for bottled water to help the meal go down, but she said no because they were closing... Food: I order a chicken pita plate with "Greek potatoes", house salad etc. The chicken itself was a bit overcooked, the potatoes were covered in some kind of sweet cream sauce? I've never seen that on Greek potatoes, I tried a small piece and cringed, this is how bad they were, they were precooked potatoes, that were burnt when they reheated them and tried to cover it with this Horrible cream dressing. I askef what this was and waitress said it was a lemon sauce... If your food is good, you don't need to cover it all in sauces.... Had the potatoes not been burnt, im sure they may have been the star of the show, that and the lettuce salad. In the end the Best part of the meal was the pita bread, that was basicallyy meal because the rest of my food saw the trash. We all thought that the meals we were served were horrible! 4 people 4 bad reviews. Service & Staff : 3.5/5 Food 0/5 Avoid! Location 3/5 Ambiance 4 the place was quite nice and clean.

I've been hearing mixed reviews for this place for quite a while but not having tried it myself I figured it was time to test it out. After a particularly long day we decided to order takeout which was very easily accomplished online within minutes. As it's not far from home I opted to pickup instead of having them deliver. I was lucky enough to get the last parking spot when I arrived and was impressed that it was full (past restaurants in this area/spot never managed to last long). The food was ready in the promised 15 minutes which meant it came out of the kitchen as I walked through the door. Nice timing :) When I first paid I was a little hesitant because I felt it was a little expensive but when I got home and we dug in, any misgivings I may have had disappeared. Not only was there plenty of food, it was all so delicious! The Gyros were great, the Greek potatoes so awesome and the rice so tasty! The salads (house and Greek) were so fresh and absolutely refreshing. This family meal was so great we were still talking about it the next day! Definitely a place we will be revisiting again!!

First time at this restaurant and I was pleasantly surprised. Food was excellent and portions were large and very good service from the waitress. My only complaint was that my Gyros plate did not come with some tzatziki. I had to order a site order of tzatziki. Restaurant is quite small and they do not take reservations. However I see a large Terrace outside and there will be much more space when summer comes. Will definitely go back

    Calamari

When my guest and I arrived, most of the tables were occupied and the place was buzzing, which was a good sign. We started off with the calamari. They were steaming hot and tender, not at all rubbery. I liked that they came with a red seafood sauce, a sweet lemon sauce similar to the mild sauce at Kojax, and two wedges of lemon. The calamari was addictive. For my entree, I ordered the one stick pork souvlaki plate with rice, Greek salad, and potatoes with the same lemon sauce as the calamari. My guest ordered the pork pita souvlaki with fries and Greek salad. My pork souvlaki was juicy and flavorful. The rice was fluffy and tasted like it was cooked in chicken broth. The potatoes were tasty and well-seasoned. The Greek salad was fresh. My guest's souvlaki pita was generously stuffed with pork and tzatziki sauce chunky with bits of cucumber. He specifically requested no onions in his souvlaki but unfortunately, he found plenty of onions and had to dig them out. His fries were tasty but not too crispy or too oily. We were too full to eat dessert so we ordered a slice of their signature baklava cheesecake to go. It was rich and well-balanced with the sweet, cinnamony baklava and the creamy tanginess of the cheesecake. A real winner. Overall, I could see this restaurant being my go-to place to eat whenever I'm in the area. The servers were friendly and attentive. The quality of the food was really good. I'm looking forward to trying their other menu items in the future.

A recent tip from a Facebook group to check out this new restaurant that opened last March inspired me to try it out tonight. I kept it simple and ordered 2 souvlaki pitas (pork and chicken) and a side of Greek potatoes for takeout. The price and the wait time were reasonable. Most importantly, the food was excellent and am very happy to have such quality fare so close to home! I look forward to returning and sampling more of their extensive menu in the restaurant. Lastly, the staff was welcoming and courteous and the interior is very clean, modern and very well laid out. There is ample parking space, wheelchair access and an outdoor dining area. The owner should be commended for putting alot of thought into the design of this establishment.

The "Antipasto Olivia" was excellent - a perfect variety of olives, nuts, veggies, cheese etc. I had the Linguini Gigi, and my husband had the steak tartare. We both loved our meals! The pasta was perfectly al dente and very tasty, but... a bit salty. The wine list is good (I enjoyed the Bourgogne), but the beer options are totally lacking. What a crap list of tap options. Such a shame. The food was really great, and the wait staff couldn't have been friendlier! Everyone we dealt with was super nice and chatty, bilingual, and just overall number 1. Give it a try. Srsly.

We started off with drinks and the Brie appetizer which were great. The Brie while on the pricey side was well presented and very tasty. It was definitely the high point of the meal. My husband ordered the creamy pizza and I ordered the Mediterranean penne. Our food arrived and I had Mediterranean linguine (not penne as ordered). The pizza was a bit bland and the crust seemed like a store bought naan bread crust. At 18$ we expected a better pizza. The pasta was flavourful and worth the price but it was nothing extraordinary. The service was fast and our waiter was great. Overall, our supper was pleasant but a tad overpriced for what we got. We will likely give it another go sometime in the future.

Our reservation was for 7, and the parking lot is very small--there was literally no space available, so we had to park on the street. When we were seated, I noticed my last name written on the table, which was a very nice and thoughtful touch. Service overall was good and professional. However, for the price you pay, they seem a bit understaffed. The restaurant is small enough that you can get your server's attention, but some service details were slightly lacking. That said, the person refilling water was 10/10--super attentive. Another thing worth mentioning is the noise level. It can get very loud, making it hard to have a conversation. It would be nice if they added some kind of soundproofing or noise-reduction panels. The restaurant is beautiful and the food is excellent, but the loud atmosphere takes away from the experience a bit. As for the food--everything was excellent. I had the salmon, and my partner ordered the 1855 Black Angus, which literally melted in your mouth. It was incredibly soft and juicy--spectacular. The bread service is a must-try; we're still thinking about it! I also loved the "blackboard" menu featuring seasonal or weekly specials--very unique and a nice touch. Overall, I really enjoyed my experience. There are a few minor things that could be improved, but I would definitely go back because the food was exceptional.
