Cozy little restaurant in Laval that I never noticed although I live a few blocks away! This place has a cute decor and a mouthwatering smell when you come in. We were four and shared all the food. For appetizers, we got the Greek salad, the calamari, the octopus, and the saganaki. All were good, but I found the octopus especially delicious. It was well done on the outside, perfectly soft on the inside, and flavorful as a whole dish. For main, we had the two meat boards. All the meats were very flavorful. I do recommend trying one of those boards because you get a great variety! However, most of the meats were overcooked, and that comes from a person who takes their steak medium-well! For dessert, we had loukoumades, half with honey and half with Nutella. They were delicious as per usual. Those are hard to miss! I also had a Greek coffee and was surprised that half the cup (literally) was the bottom of the coffee pot, which is ground coffee beans. I mean, you see what you pour in a cup! read more

Been here twice for two Fridays in a row and I'm seriously thinking about making this a regular habit because the food is delicious! Located in a small strip mall in a predominantly ethnic/Greek neighborhood, Greektown Grill delivers on all factors of flavors and freshness. We have shared their classic gyro plates that are served with generous amounts of meats and sides of salads, rice and potatoes and most recently tried their whole grilled chicken which was a feast in itself. The portions are generous and very fairly priced, I hope this does not change. We loved having leftovers. The food is made to order and you can taste the freshness all around, especially from their salads, something so simple turned into a delicacy once you see their ripe red giant tomatoes and rows of lemons straight on their counter. Only drawbacks are the expensive upcharge for tzatziki sauce ($5 for a small plate) or canned sodas ($2.25.. or 2.50$ a pop?). Also the most expensive meat platters are not served with any sides, I think if you are paying for a whole chicken or variety of grilled meats, they could at least throw in a few potatoes or side of rice. It forces people to buy sides separately which can drive the bill up quite high. Best value are the gyros/souvlaki plates if you want a full meal from $13 to $18. Tried their food a few times now and overall it's solid traditional Greek cuisine. Dining is tends to get very pretty loud which can limit discussions with folks at your table. They deliver and do takeouts which is fabulous. The best by far they had to offer was their delicious chicken & pork gyro meat. The tzatziki is perfect prepped as well. They go great together and frankly one of the best I've had on this side of the ocean. The loukaniko is good but I've had better elsewhere, portion needs to be more generous. Greek salad is good. The saganaki is a solid option as well. Service was good. Pricing is OK. Definitely recommend this place. read more

Tried Greektown Grill for the first time as a coworker had recommended this spot to me. We ordered some food for delivery which included some pork gyro pitas, salad, roast potato, rice, and french fries. The pork gyros were pretty good as well as the roast potatoes and fries. I thought the quality of the food was pretty good but it was expensive. With two drinks a meal for two was over $60. I think dining at the restaurant would be better to get the food super fresh and piping hot. Overall I would try this spot again as I would like to try their calamari! read more

My boyfriend and I came here on a Sunday night. We did not reserve but came early enough that there were still empty tables. The restaurant did fill up quickly afterwards though. The portions are huge!! We shared the fried zucchini and the grilled octopus. Everything was delicious! The fried zucchini was so crunchy and it came with a side of tzatziki sauce with paprika sprinkled on top. The grilled octopus is a must! Cooked to perfection! We ordered an additional side of tzatziki. We got some house wine which was pretty good and they really filled up the glasses. We were pretty full after this. We got a combo of chicken and pork gyro pitas but we couldn't finish it. We shared the chicken gyro and I brought the pork one home to eat for lunch the next day. I wanted a Greek salad but knew we would not be able to finish it. I definitely want to come back to try the saganaki. We saw other tables order it and it looked amazing! Was a bit disappointed with Greektown Grill recently. I heard lots of great things about this place, maybe we came on an off day.. but the food wasn't as good as other competitors. We ordered takeout as that was the only option during this whole self isolation policy, Service was very rude .. gave us attitude for ordering doner pitas .. started giving us lessons of how we should be calling them Gyro instead .. lol wow really dude? We had donner / "Gyro" pitas they were really mediocre not filled and unfortunately the chicken and beef was insanely dry I was shocked .. it was really hard to eat them it felt like they were 1-2 days old .. leftover dry feel.. the tzatziki was good but not enough so that didn't help enough with the dryness of the pita. It wasn't authentic enough missing real flavour and taste.. felt very commercial Nonetheless, The rice , greek salad was good and calamari were fresh thankfully.. but overall I was expecting way more than what I paid for it's very expensive too about 77$ for 4 pitas 2 salads and calamari:/ very expensive in my opinion.. their competitors are way better and 1/3 of the price cheaper :/ I was hesitant to write this review but My policy has always been honesty and hopefully they can change and adapt their recipe and quality and maybe I'll try them again sometime soon but for now I don't feel like the quality is there for the crazy hefty price we paid. read more

Delicious Greek food feast - I loved it. The greektown board deluxe was just perfect. The shrimps and calamari were cooked to perfection. The gyro meat was tasty and tender. The lamb was however a tad bit over cooked for my liking. We also had A full order of the spasti Kota which is their platter of grilled chicken and it was very good. We are very happy that my family doing this restaurant we taste all the appetizers from spanakopita to new feta saganaki kalamari fried zucchini almost Everything , and I see that they are Doing it with love. , what iam surprised is how can great restaurant like Greektown Grill serves really really bad quality souvlaki it's hard and full of fat , my son had shawarma chicken it was like broiled tasteless ( not juicy ) , I can still put them in top 5 Greek restaurant in montreal and laval we We will be going back it's not like we won't go back we love it but they have to correct couple of things , we were 6 people none of us tried the loose meat so I can't say anything about it but they should serve better quality meat and chicken read more

Just ordered their pork gyros sandwich!! It was fantastic!!! Similar taste to the ones i had in athens. Tip:tell them to add fries in the pita. The fries were crispy and tasty and again similar to greece. The meat was tender,juicy and huge in quantity. The only nit pick i have is that their meat is a tiny bit too salty for my personal taste. I eill have to try the other stuff after reading reviews of camille. Totally recommend it read more
