I have been to Memorial Medical Center for 4 years since moving to Las Cruces, 3 times to ER. In…read morethe past, I lived in large metropolitan areas with multiple medical facilities. Memorial is old, but in general the facility is well kept and the service is excellent. In December, I had a triple bypass surgery in Memorial. I first spent 5 days on the fourth floor prior my surgery. My surgeon was Dr. Vitaly Piluiko, who recently retired. Him and his team were outstanding. Dr. Piluiko, visited me in my room every day prior my surgery. After surgery, I spent a few days recovering in the intensive care unit. Even the anesthesiologist came to check on me the day after my surgery! Yes, the hospital is a bit tired, but the care I received was outstanding. My only observation is that the food service company lacks of employees who understand what vegan meals are and they need to have a proper selection of options for vegans, vegetarians and pescatarians. The service is at the same level of what I experienced in large hospitals in San Antonio and Dallas Texas.

Dr Leon is NEVER on time. He is famous for his lack of punctuality. I found another Dr because the…read morelack of professional treatment was unacceptable. When Dr Polono left this practice and moved to San Antonio, there was no longer an acceptable solution. I moved elsewhere. When Dr's demonstrate this level of indifference for their patient, they are telling you just how little they care. Goodbye and good riddance. If you think this is harsh, ask the staff. They will tell you, Dr Leon is NEVER on time.

NMCC did for me in one day what Dr.Boulwares office took over…read more10 months and counting to do. After waiting 8 months for a second appointment and never got it. His people kept rescheduling my appointment again and again. At NMCC, Dr.Satar was wonderful!!! I don't think many doctors trouble themselves with scheduling and should not have to but if your front desk is horrible they don't know. And it never gets fixed as in the case of Dr. Boulware office. NMCC front desk and scheduling were excellent. I wish I had gone to them first.
