Southstate Bank has locked up all my funds. Why? I deposited via their mobile app a security deposit refund check from my prior business commercial property. Having fulfilled my lease 5 yr term lease I was issued a security deposit refund from the realty company. The realty company is very well known, Kimco Realty, listed on the NYSE (KIM) as a REIT. The check is drawn on JP Morgan Chase Bank, also well known. How difficult could it possibly be via these two institutions to verify a check? This is day 4 of closing down my account and thus my not having access to ANY of my money. NOT just the check funds, ALL of my money. read more
