Dreadful shopping centre full of the usual high street stores. Something has happened to the attitude of the centre staff here and they are no longer the friendly bunch of old. As we left we saw the security harassing 2 NHS workers that were simply sitting on the bench outside. They were told they could not sit there as it was Shopping Centre property....???! Very nasty will not be visiting here again, not even to visit the cinema even though it is our nearest 'mall'. read more

I'm in the Southside Shopping Centre practically everyday picking up something for the house, getting some food in, wandering the game shops or trawling through HMV's CDs and DVDs. Southside has really improved in the last few years, it's clear they've spent a lot on marketing the shopping centre in the last while and the calibur of shops has improved too. There's an HMV, a Waterstones, a Waitrose, H&M, Primark and Boots amongst others. It's so handy having this in Wandsworth, I practically never have to leave my area! For those who are local who just want to catch a film, there's also a Cineworld in the shopping centre and an array of restaurants (Nandos etc). The cinema is great, really down to earth and inexpensive. On Tuesdays all films are half price and they also do Orange Wednesdays (2 for 1) if you have an Orange mobile phone. I love this shopping centre, my friends and I are big fans - who needs to leave the area when we have this at our doorsteps! read more

The shopping centre is a bone of contention for those who love to support local businesses, sure. But I tell you what, having a place where you can pick up some fancy bread from Waitrose, some speciality vegan-friendly food from a Holland & Barrett, a pair of cheap leggings from Primark, some basic Ts from the Gap, a book or two from Waterstones, a bundle of flowers from the flower vendor, some bath goodies from the Body Shop, your age-defying facial wash from Boots and a catalogue to start planning your next package holiday from Thompson Cook all under the same roof is invaluable. Add to that list a 14-screen cinema with abnormally comfortable stadium seating on the first floor of the shopping centre. ...aaaaaand now I never have to leave Wandsworth again. read more

Our main purpose was a visit to Waitrose but they have a good range of other shops to choose from! Poundland: yay cant beat it. Tiger: Amazing gift/gadget shop with so many cool things you can easily spend a fortune on stuff so cheap it has to be bought! Flight Centre Travel agents the best place in my opinion to get a great deal on flights. Ed's Diner for Chocolate Malts and Burgers! + Many more! There's loads of cool little crafty stalls in the middle of the centre as well. Good way to kill a few birds with one stone. Looks like they are expanding as well with lots of new units being erected. Oh yeah and a Cinema upstairs! Definitely going back to check that out :-) read more

Southside, you're getting classy! Over the past 2 years, this shopping centre has evolved from humble beginnings - adding shops like an expanded H&M, Topshop, etc. They have taken one underused wing and added more and nicer shops (TJ Maxx, Costa, New Look) , closed the last remaining "outdoor" wing, and have renovated and added on near the Garratt Lane entrance (with Sabichi, Pomodoro Rosso, etc.). The Waitrose is quite nice and has very helpful staff - they even cater to the American residents in the area by getting fresh turkeys in for Thanksgiving! The signs posted right now indicate there will be a Debenham's moving in later this year, and I think Southside will just continue to get better! read more

While the shops are pretty good, the whole mall smells strongly of garlic, which puts me off coming here. If it wasn't for the smell I'd come here more often. Although if you don't mind the smell, then, like I said, the shops are pretty good. In Debenhams there is a good selection of makeup/beauty brands, as well as clothes, etc. The bathrooms are disgusting, although to be fair so are most public bathrooms. read more

It has a good selection of the big chains, Boots, W.H.Smiths, Waitrose, Poundland, etc. It also has a cinema, car park, toilets. There are a selection of eating places, KFC, McDonald's, Subway, and others. There are sometimes market stalls selling sweets,etc. So it is a one stop shop for most things. Soon it will have a rival when the brewery site is redeveloped. read more

This is a fairly big shopping shopping center in Wandsworth. There is nothing wrong with it, but for the size I would expect it to have it to have more variety. They are in the process of expanding, so hopefully it will improve. read more

This store is really well set out, the staff are more than helpful here, I have been shopping here for more than ten years now. the Muslim chap who works on the floor is really helpful, " Dawn " "Jacqui" " Stephen " and all the staff work really hard to make sure everything is well stocked and the staff are really ready to help and make sure I get all the items I require. good selection of fruit ! Bread ! canned meat , veg and everything for the kitchen , garden they even stock C.DS AND D.V.DS ! Southside seems to be getting bigger and bigger! The addition of new restaurants and a few new shops, where the likes of hmv had vacated, means it's a very popular shopping location. There are a good range of shops: clothes, coffee, restaurants and beauty. The cinema is one of the nicer in the area - and if you go after 7 the parking is free. Everything you need is in one location (under 1 roof!). read more

I don't think much of this place, even after the extension that added the nicer eateries on the ground floor. Inside there aren't many useful shops, though it does have a Waitrose and a big cinema that are it's saving graces. Planet organic, GBK and Starbucks help its case but if I lived locally and needed or go shopping I'd be more likely to go to Clapham instead. read more

Well laid out shopping centre - with surprisingly useful range of shops, including various bank branches and a post office. I highly recommend Tiger- great shop for odd gifts and home accessories (guess at a push I could also say the same about the pound land). read more

A large indoor shopping centre that just keeps on getting bigger, and better. The combination of a waitrose, a cinema and a paperchase was enough for me but the recent addition of a large department store, Debenhams, and not as recent addition of planet organic can only be good things in my eyes. Perfect for present shopping with waterstones, tiger, Debenhams, Oliver bonas, tk maxx, boots to name but a few then there is something for everyone. There are lots of new food places opened up, some of which you get a discount on with a cineworld unlimited card or with recent cinema tickets. The centre is open reasonably late because of the cinema, there is also a gym and car park. I like the layout too as it is well spaced out so even when really busy it doesn't tend to feel overcrowded. Another great thing here is Amazon lockers, so you can order in advance from Amazon and pick up while doing your waitrose shop. Definitely one of my favourite shopping centres in London! read more
