We shared the Rurik's Feast so we would get a variety of meats and it was good. I really liked all three meats and it was worth it for the cost. I do wish there were different root veggies like potatoes. I don't know much Viking history so not sure how authentic, but they did have a nice variety of options. They did have risotto for the vegetarians (sure that wasn't part of the Viking staple!). SERVICE: Loved the music. Loved the atmosphere (except for the heat). I was awed at the cozy pub feel and excellent line up of taps and bottles. The bartender asked what I'd like, and I told her I was looking to try regional IPAs. She took me around one side of the bar to a fridge filled with a great assortment of beers from the area and proceeded to recommend some IPAS from trending breweries. I started with a Dugges High Five IPA that was near perfect. She let me sample a couple other beers and I again took her suggestion and opted for a Zodiak IPA from Omnipollo. It a had a nice hop taste with floral hints which she described perfectly. She was one of the more knowledgeable bartenders I ran across in my search for IPA perfection in Stockholm. The traditional pub ambiance was perfect, it had a nice outdoor seating area, and it was perfectly maintained inside and out. My only regret is that I didn't eat there but instead went to a plce a few blocks over where I didn't have as stellar an experience. Next time, if I'm lucky to be in Stockholm again I'll be back to this place.

Only two workers in the restaurant who spent most of the time talking with each other. You could tell they didn't want to be there either. The ambiance was nice, looked like a tavern from the Medieval period. The seats were uncomfortable, however, and they only gave you a fork and spoon to eat; no forks! I must say, it wasn't the coziest I have been to, I don't know what it lacks though. By the second booth by the wall and floor you have power outlet for your charger. I will go through my archives and post what I have from the establishment. The employees were so sweet and truly were the cherries on top regarding our experience here. We had so much fun here we dropped over 400 bucks I feel in American Dollars. One drink we had was the gonzo. The bar manager who was there that day ( my visit was in February 2017) had recently won a Bacardi cocktail competition for Sweden and was be going on to the international competition and if she won, the gonzo would win some notoriety [think same status of staples like rum and coke, vodka tonic, etc etc, along those lines.] The club also sold a few finger foods which I don't recall too much but I do remember them being tasty. All in all pretty pricey bar in a nice area near Gamla Stan. If you need advice on visiting Sweden, go in the springtime or warmer weather as it is an country of several islands and best explored from the water.
