We shared the Rurik's Feast so we would get a variety of meats and it was good. I really liked all three meats and it was worth it for the cost. I do wish there were different root veggies like potatoes. I don't know much Viking history so not sure how authentic, but they did have a nice variety of options. They did have risotto for the vegetarians (sure that wasn't part of the Viking staple!). SERVICE: Loved the music. Loved the atmosphere (except for the heat). Also a good selection of bottles that's not available at many other places. The food isn't as unique, but it's tasty and well-cooked, and prices follow the same philosophy as for the beer. You can be sure to find something that fills you up for between 120-160 kr and also tastes really good. The crowd is a wild mix between young and old, locals (that maybe visit the place a bit too often for their own good), beer enthusiasts and others. But the atmosphere is almost always very good. The staff can seem a bit uncaring, but chances are they remember your preferred beer after a couple of visits, so be patient! :) A good visit during the winter when the place is warm and cozy and packed with people, as well as during summer when the outdoor tables let you enjoy the nice surrounding streets.

I was also super tempted to take tartare steak, the table next to us had some and it looked really good.
