I gave this a try because I do like me a good Irish style pub! I think this is a nice homey and roomy pub with large booths and a very down-to-earth feel. I really liked the unpretentiousness of the place. It seems like a lot of families and people of mixed ages were in attendance the night I went here. Next time my pops comes into town I know just where to take him! =)
The decor is kinda funny with all the plaid covered booths. Somehow it made me feel like there were a lot of 1980's couches sitting around and the place was the largest living room i've ever been in. I know they were trying to go for a more Irish look, but the type of plaid they used was unfortunately very popular for old ladies homes when I was a kid. Weirdly enough, all that just made me like this place more!
The burgers were good! I inhaled the french fries like there was no tomorrow. I think that means they were good, or I was just that hungry! My friend got the chicken club. Which, I thought had all the base qualities for a good sandwich. Decent bread, moist chicken and large in size! However, when I tried a bite I was surprised that it had a very bland curry flavor. I wish it was more like a California club (avocado and bacon) instead of curry! It was edible, but pretty boring. =(

#2) Clean bathrooms? Check.
#3) Good service? Check.
I recommend going on a slow night with a bunch of close friends that want to chill out, have a good beer and some informal chitchat. read more
