I've spoken with Sacramento HCD, who regulates all of this, and they're in the process of trying to find permits and see if anywhere ever requested. They did a Shawty crappy job. There were multiple leaks where the water meters were not connected correctly and it's been reported nothing's been done about it other than to inform us that anything from the meter to the trailer is our responsibility even though the work was done by them and not done properly they refuse to come back out and do anything about it. The office staff at Harmony Communities (Shady Acres) are rude vulgar, and do not care about their tenants yet they want to raise the rent to over $1000 a month...

Been living here for 10 months and I have a love hate relationship with this place heres why:…read more Pros: the 2 bedroom apartments are a good size, if u choose upstairs you"ll get a fire place which i really love :), another plus is that all the apartments come with Washer & Dryer Hook-ups; you also get one covered parking space and a cute lilttle balcony. Another thing I love about this place is that is surrounded by a good amount of trees, and the jacuzzi and pool are really awesome too, oh also the manager lives in the complex, so if you have any issues u can usually get a hold of her right away. Now here's what i hate :( CONS: maintenace sucks, shit never gets repair on time or it never gets repair at all, the freaking walls are paper thin, u honestly hear everything your neighbor is doing, the air vent in the bathrooms are sooooo fckn loud I HATE IT specially when inconsiderate people leave their shit running all fckn night, also when the neighbors AC goes on be prepare for more noise and a little bit of wall shaking specially in your room. This place is more of a 3.5 star love it but hate it at the same time, if management was able to change those little things it would definitely be a 5 star place, hmmm I think this one is WORTH A TRY...

Months later, I am hearing from friends and acquaintances about their personal experiences and it's all horrible. Nicole & the whole team are stingy, rude, and truly do not care about their tenants or employees. At this particular complex, they are very clearly taking advantage of their elderly "managers" for cheap labor. One apartment literally burst into flames 9 days after move in & they did nothing to compensate the tenant. They hire sketchy and unreliable landscapers, maintenance workers, etc to save a buck. It's gross & weird. Stay far away.

The Park itself is clean, well maintained (for the most part) and quiet, with regular Security patrolling. Residents have been very Friendly and Welcoming.
