Dr. Kia Pheng Tan, his assistant, and receptionist (Anu) did a very good job for me, in the last 3 years. Many times, Dr. Tan helped me to solve many emergency problems. His receptionist, Anu, also is a very hard-working person helping me to solve many issues. Another dentist, from another location, asked me $10,000 to solve a problem. Normally quite good. Last time I was left with an extremely sore jaw from having my mouth propped open open for two hours while the dentist ran around and took care of a few other patients. Mentioning that your jaw is becoming sore doesn't seem to help much. I will not go back for that kind of care. read more

Pretty rude and condescending people work here. One of the receptionist is just extremely rude and condescending. The older dental hygienist she is extremely rude too. I don't know what her problem is. Glad I never went back. read more

Friendly staff and awesome dentist. My dentist Dr.Daxa is great, she is so kind and also did my usual cleaning, today I had a new dental hygenist Amanda who was thorough and nice. Totally recommend this place, long term staff who are friendly and helpful. I used to teach Medical English and the staff here was awesome in showing my ESL medical students around for several classes. Very helpful staff which I am bless to be their patient. read more

I came here a month ago to get my teeth examined and cleaned. I was really nervous about going to a new dentist. I had an awesome dental hygienist back at home who always did impeccable work on my teeth and I was worried that someone new would do half-arsed job. Fortunately, I did not have that problem, which was relief. Everyone- receptionists, dental hygienist and Dr. Tan- were GREAT! They even pronounced my name correctly the first time (if you can do that, you will be my friend). The dental hygienist who carefully and meticulously scraped and cleaned my teeth, did an amazing job on my teeth! I was SO HAPPY and felt like I had a brand new set of teeth.I really enjoyed my visits here and I recommend coming here. It's clean, modern and there are even TV screens in the ceilings! read more

I use to come here regularly but have subsequently changed dentists due to the rude hygienists (making snide comments and gossiping during my cleanings) and the ditzy receptionist who doesn't seem to put much effort into being helpful. read more

Clean, receptionists are lovely. Isn't enough though if the dentist don't follow through. I had a permanent retainer come loose and had them do basic cement work to fix it. I told her where my retainer belonged, I got told I was wrong, they cemented it in the wrong place after I insisted again and told to come back if I have problems. Now the work is gone because it's where I bite and if I want it fixed I have to pay the same price for the same work, that wasn't properly done the first time. read more

In my opinion, Dr Acton and dental hygienist Judy is as good as it gets!!! I will travel from anywhere to see them- both quick and professional and do a great job which is awesome as I used to have a major phobia of going to the dentist- I'd recommend both to anyone :) read more

When I was underemployed, and not making much, they were more than happy to help me work out payments for my dental work, and always treated me with care and respect. The staff is friendly. I am very impressed with the work my hygienist Krista and front desk receptionist Carol have done.However, during the second visit, my hygienist Sarah keep looking at the clock as she is scaling my teeth. I feel that she is not very experienced at her practice. I am a bit annoyed that she keep talking to me and poked my mouth 3 times during 1.5 hour time frame. I am very hesitant to schedule my full checkup with Dr. Tan now to be honest. read more

I very recently had to have emergency dental assistance where I was in extreme pain. I went to this clinic for help straight after work at the end of the day with my little boy. We were not at our best because I have a physically dirty job and I showed up at the clinic looking shabby and tired. I found that because of these circumstances and the fact I was in pain for the last 24 hours, we were treated different then the other patience there. I also was not happy at all with the treatment I received from the doctor as I was highly offended when asked if I was "On drugs" after 30mins of this doctor getting to know me and me telling him I am in a lot of pain he proceeded to use tools in my month to do de-scalling on a badly infected upper gum line. I found out later from second opinion that this should not be something a dentist should do when there is an infection. It was done with NO numbing or pain killers of any kind. It was the most painful dental experience I ever had. I found out that the infection needed to be cleared up before he was to go in and clean. when we left I was in more pain then when I went in. I did receive my prescription for antibiotics, but the experience in all was very unpleasant and very judgmental by the doctor who tended to me. I was so very insulted. Please know that I am not, and never have been a drug user, nor a drinker at all. It not me. read more
