When I asked about the change the person working the desk told me there is no way I was ever told that. In other words she called me a liar. She acted very arrogant early on and throughout the whole conversation and then stated it all had to be paid in full. I went ahead and let them do the surgery because I work 84 hours a week and had already squeezed this in my already tight schedule. My mother in law doesn't drive so that's why I took the dog. We will be looking for a new place to go with straight forward pricing.

UNIVERSITY…read moreANIMAL HOSPITAL My fiancé had a bad experience with the Vet at University Animal Hospital and put a review on Google and they commented to her review and insulted her calling her names instead of trying to resolve the issue. She had put in an order through chewy and requested painkillers that he is already prescribed through University Animal Hospital and they denied it. When she called about it, you can see how rude they were about it just by their comment to her review. They are very unprofessional and immature. This place does not care about your animals, they only care about their bottom line. If you want people that care about your animals, go anywhere but this place.

He didn't offer any medication or explain better ways to take care of my dog. Walked in and my dog was in distress with people holding her down and she was freaking out. She was almost dropped off the table. The vet held her mouth closed and head down as he poured tons of ear products down her ears. He also tried to tell me that my dog had a tumor that needed to be removed which isn't true and seemed to be trying to get money out of me. This place is cheap but is not worth it due to lack of help, direction, and politeness. Will not be returning.

She was on leash, they weren't. The brief skirmish left her with a rip in the left shoulder and a gigantic open wound where they tore the skin off her haunch. She required emergency surgery and a LOT of follow up care since we were treating a LARGE open wound. Dr. Gary Edwards was VERY kind and very professional and explained how the wound would heal. His use of antibiotics, anti-inflammatory meds, Manuka honey, and a cocktail of painkillers and CBD kept my dog from developing infection and minimized her pain. I held up my end by keeping her as quiet and clean as I could. She is eleven years old and a beloved pet who sleeps on our bed. We were in and out of the office frequently for two months and I was always pleased with the friendliness and helpfulness of his staff. It's a busy office, but it's a happy office. They acted like they really cared about my dog. I highly recommend their services.

I told the groomer I'd like to give him a good trim for the summer because he was starting to look like a little fuzzy bear cub. The girls at the front were very sweet and greeted my dog and chatted with me when I came to drop him off. I felt very comfortable leaving my fuzz ball with them! I knew he'd be in good hands! They offer other services for a little bit of a charge but all in all I think they're reasonably priced compared to other places. Although, it was a pretty pricey first time visit that required me to pay for shots he didn't have and a fecal exam, which is why I gave 4 stars (not from around here maybe this is a common practice!) But they are upfront with all the costs and there are no surprises! Hopefully he was a good boy for everyone!
