Now an actual shop/parlour the experience has lost nothing of its charm, and has stuck it out in a shopping centre where similar businesses have been and gone. Massages are great, affordable and costs are per area. Though there is a sort of massage menu, packages are quickly tailored to the individual needs of each client, and level of pressure can be negotiated throughout the experience, but is generally only required at the commencement of the massage as they work out your desired level pretty quickly. Ha's offers a couple of other treatments not that common to shopping centre massage parlours which include ear candling and lymphatic massage. Personally, I think ear-candling is bull honky, but having it done at Ha's was a pleasant enough experience and safe although involving fire. The day I had lymphatic massage on my face I was feeling a bit ill going in, and I felt this massage really helped and I left Ha's as I always do, feeling better.

First of all at only $5.00 it is really so cheap and because its positioned in a Shopping Centre, there is always plenty of opportunities when your arms, neck or legs get sore from lugging all of that shopping around there is somewhere that you can find relief. The staff were friendly, if a little overfriendly and very smiley - which I guess you can decide for yourself is a good thing or not. They also offer services in reflexology, oil massage and ear candling which I have always wanted to try but don't know if I would be game enough to!

But I've a collection of very tight muscles that no amount of physio or yoga seems to sort, so I've been glad to discover the Chi chain of massage centres. An hour long remedial massage is just $60 - less, if you can claim on your private health - and you get to keep you gear on. Win! I've been seeing a physiotherapist for various exercise induced issues for a while, and the masseurs at Chi seem to get into the same tight spots. They aren't afraid to use lots of pressure - nothing like an elbow right near your spine to remind yourself that your nerve endings all work perfectly well, thanks! The masseurs always check that the pressure is OK, but I think I might be ever so slightly masochistic - my more it hurts, the more value I feel like I'm getting! I'm not planning to break up with my physio, but a massage in between helps me space out my visits to him. If you are expecting the full beauty salon massage experience you will be disappointed - if you want that level of ambiance, you need to pay for it. The facilities are fine, but the cubicles are separated by curtains, so you do hear the distant thrum of the shopping centre and any pummelling happening to the person next to you. If you want perfect silence, you'll need to take earplugs or go somewhere else. Relaxing music is played, sometimes a little muzak-y, but mostly pretty nice to listen to. I've never had to book, and the most I've waited is 5 minutes. I've no idea how they manage to do that, but it's really convenient to simply decide to have a massage and for someone to be available. The masseurs I've seen there have always been pleasant, professional and polite. I'm taking off a point for the fact that I have to enter and exist Westfield Marion in order to get there - I have a deep aversion to those uber big shopping centres. But the zen from the massage stays with me as I head out the automatic doors, and for an affordable treat I recommend you give Chi a try.

Overall I have been happy with the service and love how my hairs smells once I've been there (it is seriously amazing!! :P). This place is always busy and has a fun, casual vibe amongst the young staff. They always look after me well when I go there. They offer magazines, tea or coffee and I have even seen champagne being served also! They also offer waxings, tanning, nails and piercings. I had my tragus (bit covering the ear hole) pierced here and it turned out perfect; it didn't hurt or get infected (but that's just my experience). It cost about $40. Hair cuts and colour can get a bit expensive though. One criticism I have is when they are washing your hair and you are expecting one of those amazing head massages, but it's not really that amazing and the neck rest is pretty uncomfortable. All the staff I have seen have been friendly and down to earth and you get the feeling that they really love working here. I have taken my daughters here for cuts colours, waxing and piercing. Matt, who has done many different piercings on all the females in the family is an absolute scream and I seem to see him out and about everywhere. He is always very diligent and takes his time when it comes to the more sensitive piercings (No! I mean nose and rook piercings, nothing too shady here). If you are looking to get a hair cut or beauty treatment and enjoy a bit of fun, this is the place to come.

There are almost no words to describe how incredible it was. From start to finish, everything was perfect! I was looked after by Carly. She welcomed me warmly and presented me with a cup of herbal tea, and also offered me the opportunity to customise my treatment (which I did). There was a short questionnaire about my needs and expectations (how firm do I like my massage? how much talking would I like during my treatment? do I have any specific areas which I would like to focus on today? etc). The treatment room I was ushered into was beautifully appointed (two massage tables so could be used for a couples treatment - I am looking forward to trying that sometime!). The music playing was really relaxing and just to my taste (such a nice change from Enya and the other cliche soundtrack which I have become accustomed to in some other similar establishments!). Their robes are divinely soft, their skincare products and oils all smelled divine and left me feeling like a Queen. My treatment began with a relaxing footbath and foot massage, then a full body massage, followed by a facial. It was exquisite! I have previously visited some wonderful day spas for massage and facial treatments, including Jurlique and other high end places, but this is far and away the best of all. I have dropped some very un-subtle hints with my significant other and am crossing all my fingers that next birthday/Christmas/anniversary I might just be lucky enough to receive another Endota Spa voucher!
