All the hard work setting up this outwardly beautiful is a waste because it's rotten at the core…read more And that core is a few key staff who simply cannot (or cannot be bothered to) do their job. Services are lovely and the therapists I had were wonderful but the customer care is abysmal. They don't want to hear your concerns. They want 5 stars. Whoever owns this place needs to take a good look at who they're employing because I would NEVER send any of my friends or family here. I'd be mortified if they were treated the way I was treated. I am now proactively warning my network not to go here.

Even rang on Friday February 2nd 2018 and spoke to another staff member to ensure she had a table for a pregnant lady and ended the call with "thank you, see you tomorrow!" The Bride and guests arrived on time at 1.30pm to be told by the Manager, L, that the booking was 3rd of March 2018. She was advised that a number of calls had been made with D and another staff member yesterday to confirm the booking for the next day.... The Manager, was absolutely rude ! Did not give a damn that her staff had made an error and in fact started to blame the poor Bride ! At first she was not even going to give the girls a refund ! Stating that they could all turn up on 3rd of March, or all come at different appointments times. No offers of a goodwill gesture or even an apology, just ignorance. She then gave the bride a refund but not her guests. Finally, with all guests being given a refund, with the Manager running her mouth off and being very nasty and rude, the poor Bride and guests left the shop with the brides Hen's Day ruined !! So, Nasty and Rude Manager, why was D's hands shaking and why was she looking very upset and embarrassed behind the counter with you, whilst doing the refunds???.... Hmmm ...maybe because she knew, your business (she) had made an error!?!? An error that ruined a Bride's day ! Word of mouth is very important for business, especially in an area such as Norwood/St Morris. Unfortunately, the 5 ladies you were rude to today are a mix of well educated multicultural ladies who live in the local area and have large friendship bases...

This tiny little shop front hides a lot of what lies behind in the form of pampering treatments and glorious relaxation. Endota Spa can take care of all your beauty needs and in my opinion the Hyde Park store is simply the best of all the Endota's in Adelaide. They use the luscious range of Dermalogica products for all of their treatments and ask that you arrive 15 minutes before your allotted appointment time so you can wind down. Whatever you do, don't arrive late because they will finish your appointment time at the allocated time to ensure the next person isn't delayed. A few treatment ideas from the Hyde Park salon to whet your appetite ... how does a one-hour deluxe spa manicure or pedicure sound? What about an organic spray tan? And if you have plenty of time and cash, what about a five hour splash out package complete with yoghurt body wrap, full body massage, facial, manicure and pedicure? Sounds like heaven right? It is!

Julie is an award winning beauty therapist who ran a variety of salons in the UK for 20+ years but now lives in Adelaide. Trust me a trip to visit her for a treatment or two and not only will your face and bod feel like a million bucks, you'll feel like you've known her for years. She has a really hearty laugh when you get her going. I've personally experienced facials, waxings and microdermabrasion treatments which make your face feel like you've just had it vacuumed. For me, walking into one of the treatment rooms is an automatic cue to relax and chill out for an hour or so. There are plenty more treatments on offer and Julie and her staff can make almost any body part look and feel attractive. Not that I've ever experienced it, but they do offer something called a Hollywood Lift that was big on Dr Phil a while back - they say it's the non-surgical equivalent of a facelift. Sounds good but a little on the scary side - I don't think I'm ready for a facelift or even facelift equivalent just yet. Facials, waxings and pedicures were once the sole domain of the girls but visit Diamond Clinic on Unley and you're going to see more than one guy visiting the salon ... and why shouldn't they! We live in the age of the metrosexual guy and most of us girls are happy our men are taking better care of themselves.

The salon itself is very clean and spacious and the music is so soothing. The microdermabrasion was fantastic, throughout the whole procedure Julie was extremely profession by guiding me through all the steps, what she was doing and in a friendly and non-pushy way she advised me of some of the products that would suit my face the best. She really knows what she's talking about and has loads of experience behind her. Definitely coming back here again!

My boyfriend bought a $240, 2 hour spa package for both my mum and myself as a gift for Christmas…read more We showed up to our appointment and we had somehow been double booked which is a large oversight considering the appointment was for two people having a 2 hour package at the same time. There was hardly any apology and the staff who worked there had no idea what was going on. We politely asked for our money back as we would not be able to make it in another time as we were going overseas and we were so put off by their lack of organisation and apology. The owner Vanessa was not willing to co-operate. I asked for an upgrade to the longer duration package and she accepted. The night before our re-booked appointment, the business owner Vanessa called me to inform our 4 hour upgrade had been condensed to 2 hours. By this stage I was so infuriated and disappointed that I didn't want to argue any further but I entirely regret not doing so now. There is no way to condense a 4 hour treatment into 2 hours. Lisa and Vanessa were less than accommodating and have absolutely no finesse in the work that they do. We didn't feel special, relaxed or pampered. They are fuelled by ego, attitude and profit, everything a day spa shouldn't be. Needless to say, this is one of the very worst encounters I have had in customer service, which is a complete shame after we tried to do the right thing and support a local small business. I am disgusted and appalled and I will be sharing my opinion with as many people as possible to ensure this does not happen to others.

I have taken many of my girlfriends here for their birthdays, and I have been suprised a few times myself with spontaneous trips. With an inner city location, this Endota is smaller and a little noiser than others, just from sheer building size and traffic. But they have decked the place out with soothing music and equipment and try their best to make the place quiet and serene. Endota Rundle is 3 stories tall, with the reception and entry on the middle level. There is a tea/waiting room downstairs along with some treatment rooms and larger group rooms upstairs. The therapists are amazing, as expected, and they know their stuff, tailoring each treatment to suit the client. Sometimes I have had nice chats with them, or a laugh, or a silent treatment where I have almost fallen asleep. If you want something a little different, get Alex the male therapist, he is pretty cool.
