We called for a birthday arrangement after seeing some options on their website and Instagram! This was Blush arrangement for $85. We called the day before and it was ready the next morning! Super easy. The shop has some other plants/planters/small gifts in case you need to pick up other things too. Located next to Lavender and Honey and parking is plentiful.

A couple days after the wedding, still looks great!

My wedding venue recommended Southern Roots. I used them for my bridal bouquet. After sending Tillie pictures of a few bouquets I saw online and my diy centerpieces she somehow knew exactly what I wanted! She called a couple days before my wedding and even though I did not know exactly how to describe the look I was going for, I felt like she read my mind. I felt the price was very fair and the delivery was on time. I received many compliments on my bouquet from Southern Roots.

I decided to place an order as I've never been disappointed with flower arrangement purchases from Southern Roots. I simply provided the color of the flower and ribbon. I was very pleased with this purchase. It was beautiful! I don't usually write reviews, but thought a picture would be useful for other customers.

Absolutely the most stunning flowers I've ever received. I showed Tillie a few inspiration pictures and color scheme for what I was looking for, and she exceeded my expectations. The variety and uniqueness of the flowers as well as are artistry of putting them together was truly art. All of my guests and myself were in aw.

Great service, beautiful luxurious flowers, and a great way to send something special. $120 bouquet.

GORGEOUS arrangement! These flowers Ann so beautifully placed together are like a piece of art. LOVE LOVE LOVE how Southern Roots helped my husband make our 25th wedding anniversary even more special. Bouquet includes: Specialty garden rose, orange calily, ranuncula, delicate yellow rose, hydrangea, little delicate orange-y, and voila! Love their gift selection as well when I've shopped over there. Highly recommend this gem in Pasadena. read more

Gorgeous, elegant yet not too 'fancy'. I ordered 4 reasonably priced Thanksgiving table flower vases and was over the top happy when I received them!!! I opted to have them delivered. At the end of the celebration each woman in attendance brought one home to continue enjoying. I received them last Wednesday and they are just now starting to nod. May retire them tomorrow. With the heater going, and cats pawing, I didn't expect them to last so long. Only wish I had taken better pictures read more

Upcharge on things you'd want to buy, but it definitely has that boutique experience. I was kind of hoping for more advice (being a plant noob) besides, "oh, you can Google the plant name." No pressure to buy, although I walked out with a small houseplant and pot. They were packed up carefully in cute packaging. They also emailed me a coupon for a future purchase. read more

Super cute store with lots of items inside with a variety of choices...you'll definitely find what you're looking for. You'll find unique plants, flowers, plant pots, dainty jewelry, plant decor, and other cute things. The only thing is a few of their plants weren't in the best conditions and the prices are a bit steep. Parking is super convenient in their parking lot. read more

Amazing! I had an event at Bistro 45 and I live in O.C. so I asked the restaurant for any recommendations and they told me about Southern Roots. They just made my job easier, I called told them what I wanted and they did it better than I expected it, delivered to the restaurant and everything was easy peasy! And the flowers were beautiful! It was for my in-laws 50th wedding anniversary and my mother in-law couldn't of been happier! Everybody was fighting to take the flowers home! Amazing bouquets and amazing customer service. Tillie was so helpful and did such a great job. I've sent two bouquets to our realtor and she LOVED them - even sending me a photo so I could see how beautiful the flowers were. I can't believe this place only has one review. It's a gem of a flower and gift shop where you will find the gift you are looking for every single time. Love that they stock local artisan work, all the cute pottery. The owner is personable, sweet, and will help you choose when you can't choose between all the things you like in the shop Reasonably priced and your gift will be loved. Southern Roots is the best place in town to order your floral gifts. The owner personally designs your arrangement and you will LOVE the result! Cute gifts in the store as well, fun to browse and buy fresh plants, cards, garden items, wedding gifts, etc! You can also bring in your own container and she will plant it beautifully. I told him how much I wanted to spend, when I'd like to pick up by, and requested a bouquet that inclined my mom's favorite flowers - lavender. They require immediate payment so I paid for it over the phone. This is a beautiful shop! It smelled SO nice right when I entered the shop. As they were getting my order together, I walked around and looked at the different creations. Even bouquets that are behind glass doors are beautiful to take home on this spot. When my order came out, the first thing I noticed was that there was no lavender. I asked the shop associate "where is the lavender?" She went back and checked my order and said she'll put some in right away, she also added additional roses to the bouquet, which really brightened it up and made it feel vibrant. I appreciated that they quickly made adjustments to the bouquet. The final bouquet was beautiful. I'm very happy with the overall look and feel of the flowers. I definitely recommend them to others, I will likely use them again for my own needs. Thank you!

Although the gift store closed after the fires, Tillie is still doings flowers for delivery, events, parties and weddings.
