Hired Southern Roofing to do roof on both house and garage and new front and rear doors on house. The contractors they sent out to do the work were excellent (the only reason I did not give 0 stars) but if there is one thing I learned from having this work done is to get it in writing. First of all they dropped all the roofing supplies off about a week before they were to start, on our front lawn, the day we were leaving for vacation, you don't leave all that material on someone's front lawn and expect it to be there in a week, had to move it all into my garage. 2nd, we had asked for a new screen door for the back door and specifically asked for one as good or similar to what was on the front door which was close to top of the Anderson line, instead we got the cheapest screen door on the market, no kidding. Asked if when they did the roof could they attach the vent hose from bathroom as we had just installed a new fan, they said yes, they did not and charged us 400+ to come back and do it. Now the paint/finish is starting to peel from bottom of front door, on the outside, apparently the house was too humid for a couple of days and there is too much caulking on our windows??? Will never use them again, they do not give a rats ass about customer service. read more
