I never leave reviews, especially for medical offices but I have to this time. My dad has been with this group for over 5 years and has seen Dr. Sadler and nurse practitioner Nicole Smith during that time. My dad has severe sleep issues and was prescribed a sleep medication that you must take on a schedule and it's proven that if you miss a dose you are at risk for seizures. So obviously the doctors office would make sure to always have refills ready so their patients, like my dad, wouldn't ever run out of this medication right? Nope. My dad is now out of the medication for the second time. Not just for a day but an entire weekend for the SECOND time. Each time he calls them and warns them he's running low multiple times throughout the week before Friday comes but every time he's told "Til pass your message along to the doctor and he will call you soon." and he never does. My dad received a huge apology from Dr. Sadler last time and he promised it would never happen again but my dad just went an entire weekend without it again. He had to quarter all his pills just so he had something to take. He then never received a call today, Monday, from the doctor. So of course he has to call again to say he doesn't have his meds and he's told he will get a call later today but guess what? He didn't get a call. Maybe he'll get a call tomorrow but who knows. I'm writing this massive review to say that no one should come to this group because experiences like this happen a lot and not just to my dad. I found this place through a google search, and I decided to give them a chance because I needed to find someone who could help manage both my depression and ADD. I love this place and the staff. They are very thorough and attentive, answering any questions or concerns. As a new patient and because they were adjusting my medication, they make you go see one of their therapists temporarily during the time period, they're very much about more than medicating patients and sending them on their way, they want to help make sure to treat and help you from every angle to improve your mental health and quality of life. this started off as a great place for me to go for my anxiety and mental health. during november, i had an appointment for an online call with my psychiatrist. the office had called me the day before and left me a voicemail to confirm my appointment. the next day, a link was sent to me to confirm my appointment, but my psychiatrist never contacted me for our meeting. come to find, they treated that as a no call no show type situation (even though i confirmed online) and charged me $150. they said i had to pay at least half of it for them to schedule an appointment with me. i told them i was out of medication and they gave me an appointment for a month from now, not understanding what it's like to stop a medicine cold turkey and go through withdrawals. they like to do a punishing technique if you do something that they don't like which is extremely unprofessional. this is the last place i would recommend to go to for any type of mental health help. read more

This has to be the absolute worst staff and front office I have ever dealt with in my life. We cancelled an appointment because they scheduled it in the middle of the day, knowing from our previous 20 appointments that she can only visit after school. It took us 15 phone calls, 6 messages left and WEEKS to get the appointment rescheduled. The only way we got it rescheduled was to be transferred to the billing department and demand to speak to someone. Now, her medicine is making her sick. Once again, left 4 messages yesterday and not one single person has returned my call. They are quick to want their money though. And for this to be a mental health doctor, that makes it 10x worse. DO NOT DEAL WITH THESE IDIOTS!!!!!!!! read more

Worst care I have ever received from a psychiatrist. I would not recommend Dr. Sadler or his staff to my worst enemy. His medication management (which is all he does) is reckless to say the least. read more

If you want to be treated by your therapists office like you are on parole, then this is the place for you. I only went once (for ptsd antidepressants) and before you can even speak to anyone they make you pee in a cup. The whole environment is utterly condescending. When I met with the psychiatric nurse and expressed my surprise at being treated like a drug seeker before they even say hello and my shock that mental health professionals wouldn't see how unhealthy that is for the patients, the female African American nurse (here in Alabama) told me she could not see any negative implications with assuming criminality in a class of otherwise innocent people. She didn't have the self awareness to see it. I've lived all over the world. This is the most pathetic medical facility I've ever experienced. read more

RUN AWAY!!!!! These fools let my MINOR child go a week without her meds then blew our appointment off after 45 mins of sitting in waiting room wondering what's happening. We finally let with no explanation no apology. They let a MINOR CHILD go into withdrawals and blew off her appointment never called to apologize or make it right! THEY CARE NOTHING ABOUT THE TEENAGERS THEY SEE ! After my legal pursuits they will be out of business anyway! Just don't waste your time take your child to a proven professional that will take their oath to help serious!!!!!!!!! read more

A customer is a customer when they are a patient. Your staff is unprofessional when they don't know the circumstances of a visit and you spend two hours of your Saturday wasting your time. Doctors you need to regularly communicate with staff so they are giving the right information to customer/patients! All we need is a test. Poor. Giving you one more shot to get your shi* straight. read more

This place is a joke. The staff is very rude. I would suggest that you find another place to be seen they can't help you. They want to charge you 150 to see someone that can't even bill insurance. Don't waste your time or money. My daughter and I both had telehealth appointments together, our first appointment. They told us to come to the office that day afterwards to do vitals and a give a urine sample. They gave each of us a brown paper bag, each with a urine cup in them. She was sent down the public hall to the restroom to give her sample. Her cup had tape on the side and her last name written on it. She returns the cup in the bag and gets taken back for vitals. That's when they sent me to the bathroom to give my sample. I had to go bad so I didn't look in detail at the cup until I was finished and upon putting it in the bag noticed it had my daughters first name only written on it. No birthdates, nothing else for ID. I returned it back at the office and once I arrived back my daughter was very upset and embarrassed because the staff who took her vitals had told her "she was on some type of stimulant" because her heart rate was rapid. She was actually in an active panic attack. The only stimulant she's ever been exposed to is coffee, tea, or chocolate. They prescribed her and I both a beta blocker after using a wrist cuff to take our BP/pulse..she's 19 with no heart problems. Never used a normal cuff, only the cheap knock off wrist cuff that is known for inaccuracy. We left quickly because she was upset. We moved here in October and my former Dr I went to had prescribed a benzodiazepine which I had been on for 17 years for anxiety. Keep in mind a 3 month Rx lasted me 9 months because I only took the lowest dose when absolutely necessary. This new PA at this office told me she would prescribe one like it after she received my medical records. She received those and then called to tell me that she wouldn't prescribe them to me because it had been since July that I had a Rx and something about their guidelines and tapering. I said no, I saw my former Dr via telehealth in July. My former Dr actually called in a 3 mo refill on 9/25/20. This would give me enough meds to well last me until I could find a new Dr. I called once we arrived here for months to get an appointment. No referrals needed but no one ever called back. I left multiple voice messages with no return calls to many Dr's in this area trying to find a good physician. This office finally called me back then we scheduled the appt. She called today to say that I had failed their urine drug screen, and were flagging me and dropping me as a patient..lol! I said, you mean the one you wrote the wrong names on? Mind you, I also had blood lab work done too for a drug screen. I can absolutely without a doubt promise they found nothing in my bloodwork because I take nothing but allergy meds and an occasional Tylenol! All they have to do is compare that result to their urine result and see that there are no drugs in my system. So basically, if you want to be treated like a drug addict/or embarrassed and have your medical records tarnished then go here! If you don't want those things to happen then find somewhere else. I'll also agree with the other reviews that this place was in the worst location, horrible facilities, very dirty, and old and scary. This is probably one reason my daughter was in a panic attack because the area was very shady. I said when I left that day for that reason alone I'd never go back there but after this..today..I know for sure I wouldn't even take my dog there. Extremely rude staff who won't return calls. So now, I'm flagged and not sure how I'm supposed to even fight that to remove it since it's inaccurate. And, they made us leave our credit card on file before even talking to a Dr and we didn't even get to see a Dr..only a NP. We also had to pre-pay with insurance the total. They also did gene testing in the office without my consent on my daughter since I'm the one who pays the bills and sent me home with a flyer afterwards stating the cost of $330 and that most insurances don't approve them. Add in the lab work they ordered on both of us only to be dropped by the practice for their own error. Unreal! read more
