I always see the airport from the 567 loop, but one day, on our way out of town, we drove past the entrance and I decided to check it out. Well the only thing I saw was the CareFlight (http://www.careflite.org/) helicopter. It's good to know where it's located, as a) I hear it's better to get to Fort Worth than use Granbury General for all but the most serious of emergencies, and b) We are thinking of joining CareFlight just in case a serious emergency does happen.

I have been a hangar tenant for 10 years. Just received notice today that my rent is increasing…read more$75. My old hangar rent was $100 two years ago, went to $125, then $150 and now $225. Keep this in mind before you decide to rent. The airport board knows nothing about aviation or business. Pretty sad.
