Meet the Business Owner: Scott G.
Shortly after I was born, in Big Spring, TX. my family moved to Austin, TX, where my dad started his own plumbing company. We lived in Austin for 16 years before moving back to Big Spring. My dad ran a good plumbing company. I started at the bottom of the ladder in our family company and was given more responsibility as I learned the profession. Being part of the family business and working with my father gave me a firm understanding of what it means to work hard and take pride in your work. I worked for my dad until I moved to Lubbock to attend Texas Tech University. I graduated with a degree in Landscape Architecture. I then made the move to Amarillo to work for a builder's supply company. I learned that the most important things are to be open & honest with yourself and the people you are dealing with, and work with integrity. I am very grateful for the opportunity to serve as the Southern Painting representative in this area.
