They couldn't do an accurrate bid and continued to go up and up and up! Logan lied multiple times to my elderly mother. The price didn't go up a little bit the prices went up thousands over $6000.00. The way they send you the bid if you do not downloaded or print it when they updated the bids the previous bid disappears and this is when Logan started to lie. He said we always said X when we never said it. Logan was so bad the owner Victor became our primary contact because we could not trust Logan. Upfront: They ask whats your budget then give you a spineless amount around your budgeted amount and raise it with each conversation even though you gave them all of this information up front. We asked them to order everything and have it in stock before beginning the job. They said they had everything but lied. We had to wait because the flooring people were out of the tile because they didn't order it as they said. The same thing happened with the shower walls they were out of the color we wanted. Do not trust them. They said 2 weeks from start to finish it was 90+ days. I knew 2 weeks was wrong but thought it would be quicker then over 90 days. So many issues I can't even list them all. Best thing about them was the man that did all the work Blake was good however his hands were tied due to Logan and he needed to keep his job.

He asked about our old fence and mentioned he could build one. I asked about a sliding gate across the driveway. It would be 24ft long. Then we asked about a carport. We had just purchased a hi-top conversion van and wanted it protected. He took all of our ideas and his measurement and quoted a 3 phase project. The fence was done first and is 8ft tall with a 4ft gate and an 8ft X 24ft sliding gate. It is so smooth and easy to open or close. Next was the carport. fits two vehicles, one that is the conversion van, perfectly. The patio cover finished out the projects and looks great. We had him add a gutter to catch any rain and keep us dry. They are professional and did outstanding work. It made such a huge difference in our backyard that I feel we'll be spending many hours enjoying it all. Thank you Backyard Shades for transforming our backyard into a place we'll enjoy for years.
