Haven't had a chance to experience goodwill. The internet informed me they open at 9am, this is not true. The actual time they open is 10am daily closing at 7pm. This review has nothing to do with the employees. They are great and have nothing to do with the ongoing price hikes. It's the Southern Oregon management team that is gauge pricing their customers right out the door. You can go to Ross or Marshalls for less money. If it's a new clothing item GW usually has a $25-$30 price tag on it. I will continue to go North to Cottage Grove and Eugene where I can get much better deals! read more

I want to say before anything else that the girls that work here WORK HARD & are always so kind & helpful anytime we've came in. They deserve a raise & all the best. The 1 star & rest of the review is not for them. We have came in here every week, many times twice a week for the past 2 years & spend a few hundred dollars a week/month. The lady who manages this store has not been kind to us once. We tried on two separate occasions to return something with a receipt & were given a hassle by the manager. The first time, for a pair of almost brand new sneakers that were a wide not a medium, completely our mistake & the second time for an item that we tried to return a few weeks ago but all Goodwill's in the area(we went to 2 other's including all the way to Ashland) were closed for (employee appreciation we learned). We both work full time & couldn't come back before the next weekend. My best friend & love of my life wanted to just not bother trying to return anything here because she doesn't want to deal with any negativity I insisted last time we came but she said "only if the manager isn't here, it's not worth the experience". Well I wish I would have listened to her on that because I walked right up to manager explaining that it was closed last week when we came for a return & that we had the receipt. She looked at my honey not me (who works VERY HARD with a full time job & runs her own business- sells/donates items, clothing & housewares to help those aging out of foster care & on the autism spectrum) & was already shopping & near by and said "I will consider it". It was very rude to respond to her & not to me. That's when when I knew she had an issue with her for whatever reason. We called another Goodwill right there in the store & the manager was very nice & understanding and said we just need to bring our receipt. We have always been able to go to another Goodwill & return anything on the rare occasion we need to, so no bashing the goodwill, just an FYI. We told this experience to another goodwill employee(not at this site) and he said we should contact the corporate office, we have not done so. I'm sure the manager has some nice qualities, and maybe just isn't a happy person at the moment & it's easy to become a little jaded with some people trying to take advantage. It's necessary to be strict at times but we weren't expecting her to bend the rules. It's important to listen to people & judge each situation fairly, which is what makes a good manager. We hope she finds her happy. We will continue to shop here & at other Goodwill's but will take care of returns elsewhere. read more

I really like this Goodwill, especially after their expansion. I particularly enjoy their book selection. It is pretty clean for a thrift store and doesn't smell strongly. Wish there were more household items. read more

I have been here twice now and both times I left with things that I never expected to buy! It really amazes me when I find really good stuff! Can't complain when the people who donate their things are in great condition! This store is bigger than the one in my area so I will probably come here more. read more

This is probably my favorite Goodwill. I'm in here a lot and know most of the staff, who are all very nice! The only reason I'm give it four stars is because of the ridiculous prices. Books are getting more expensive and the price of clothing is ridiculous. I saw a ratty shirt of the Beatles for $5.00 ??? Seriously? I'm fully aware that this money is supposed to go to their job program but I never see much going on in there, if ever. I've limited going to Goodwills anymore just because of the high prices but I'm giving a good review because I do like the staff and they keep the place pretty clean. read more

This Goodwill is the cleanest Goodwill we have ever been to. The clothing was so well organized, by size and color. The prices were pretty good. My three kids and I all found things that we liked. I would recommend coming here. read more

Horrible experience here. A blond employee-mid 50s'ish was extremely rude when I attempted to exchange a bra that I had bought literally 2 minutes before. She was not friendly about the return and this woman went so far as to a comment that the bra smelled like body odor LOL. Extremely rude! So much that I actually am leaving a bad review and I've never left a bad review in my life. I'm not sure if this was a racial thing but I know if she treats everyone this way that women ought to be fired immediately. Sorry for the bad news but if anybody gets racially profiled here there might be a connection. Salud! read more

Really huge looking store from the outside, but really only half the size inside. The location is really inconvenient if coming from VA or from the North. Theres a center median with no turn lanes and you have to turn around at least 1/2 mile away at the next intersection. Not that many plus size clothes or mens clothing. Mostly womens sizes up to 12 and childrens clothing. Its great if you have kids theres a nice book section. Hardly any furniture, there was only 1 couch and 1 recliner and a coffee table. The building seems empty and the clothes racks are picked clean and empty also. 5 item limit and locked doors to dressing rooms and its really dark in there! They have bathrooms which is great! The one in Ashland doesnt, so thats a plus. I usually go to the Central Point Goodwill it has better quality clothes and more of them.
