I'd jump with another company next time. While the jump itself was a breathtaking experience, Southern Minnesota Skydiving is very difficult to work with. We purchased Groupons for two tandem jumps plus videos, and it was very easy to schedule our jumps at first. However, due to weather, our jump was canceled and rescheduled twice. It's completely understandable to cancel due to weather, but their team dragged their feet when trying to help us reschedule. After weeks of calling, texting, and emailing their team, I was finally able to get a hold of someone to set a date and time. When we finally arrived for our jump it seemed their jump team was unaware we were coming. Whoever I had spoken with to reschedule, never put us on their calendar and the team was about to cancel on us again. We said we'd wait as long as we needed to, and after 4 hours we were finally able to jump. The jump itself was amazing, breathtaking, and beautiful. We knew it would be, which is why we had purchased videos with our package. The team said they'd send us their videos within a few days after the jump, but we still haven't received them. It's been a few weeks now, and they're not returning my calls, emails, or texts. Nor are they returning calls from the other jumper in our group. The videos alone were $40/each. read more

The employees and crew are great people. More than helpful honest and most of professional. We had five people jumping and due to the weather we had to reschedule for the following day. Even though they had people scheduled they let is come early and jump in front of the others who were scheduled. I will never look at the sky the same again. Absolutely breath taking experience. In July 2014 I purchased 2 Tandem jump for my daughter and me. We tried 6 times prior to October and they always had some excuse. Only 2 of them were weather related. I started to contact them in the spring of 2015 and since she probably knows the number I had to leave message after message. I then spoke with Amazon and they put me in contact with the booking company. Herr we are a year later and I finally have an answer. They want me to pay $300 again to take the jumps. Well first it will be another chance with Amazon and then probably court. When they post a deal they generally put you at the bottom of the list. We had lost time from work for this and now they just will not even return calls for over a year. I purchased an online deal for Southern Minnesota Skydiving in May expiring in mid-September. A couple of weeks prior to the expiration, we called to schedule our static line jump per the deal and were rudely told by their representative that they were booked for the remainder of the season and that our only option would be to pay a substantial amount to to "upgrade" to a tandem jump - which per their website is a lower-cost option, not an upgrade at all. We asked them if since the deal we purchased was still valid at the time we called they would honor it early in their 2014 season, we were told that they would have to charge us the full price if we wanted to come in the next season. I then sent a message to customer service for the online deal company who contacted Southern Minnesota Skydiving on our behalf. They responded the same day letting me know we would hear back from S. MN Skydiving within 3 business days. They never contacted us. So we are stuck with a $200 deal that is no good, and a business that apparently has no interest in working with customers.
