This place was recommended as one that had chicharones, the type with meat attached to the deep fried pork skins; and the info was correct. I picked some up both times. The first batch were better than the second batch, as the second batch had several pieces that were well overdone making them very hard. They were still good and I only had to toss a few smaller ones out, so as not to break a tooth. I picked up a few fresh vegetable items that were good, but I stayed away from the onions as there were quite a few gnats hovering around them (I will presume that was a fluke and not the norm). The avocados and jalapeno peppers were in excellent condition. I also picked up some of their fresh red hot salsa (not bottled), for the second time, as it is really good. The staff are friendly and accommodating with any questions. I will be back for sure.

Not only was I surprised at how comfortable and inviting the inside of the restaurant is, we were greeted immediately and friendly as we walked in and they were ready to take our order faster than I was even ready to place it! Menu is straight forward, wings, ribs, plates, dinners - keep it simple. Food was pretty damn good, got the jerk wings, Mac n cheese, stewed cabbage perfect plate and serving size (thank goodness I didn't get the dinner we would've never left). Gotta say that Mac n cheese....should've ordered more. Everything was delicious, home cooked, and the Carrot Cake the owner offered...tasted like home. That's about it, tastes like you stopped by Nanas house or Aunties house and dinner was waiting. Not a huge establishment, so if you're going with a large group better call ahead but we'll most certainly be back for the ribs next time and more Mac n cheese. Quaint, clean, comfortable, friendly, delicious food, can't ask for much more.

They have bbq ribs and wings as well as jerk wings. There are a bunch of sides to choose from and the Mac and cheese was tasty as was the potato salad. I decided on the jerk wings as I love a good jerk seasoning. There was the right amount of heat and flavor to make these wings perfect in my opinion. Only down fall is no sweet tea but oh well. I would definitely come back again for lunch.
