You'll love it! Wow were they ever right. We spent almost an hour in the store looking at some great deals on every type of cuts imaginable. All top quality meat. Plus the butcher is very accommodating to your needs. Cutting, grinding and preparing meats for you. While you're there check out the vegetables. Huge selection of potatoes, tomatoes, onions, peppers you name it and they most likely have it. From the butchers to the checkout ladies, all are very friendly. I ordered something I haven't had since moving down here and that's "Minute Steaks." Never heard of them? Ask the butcher about them. You'll be glad you did!

I really wanted to get apple butter as a friend once told me the best places to get apple butter are from Amish shops because it's that real apple butter. Well I walked in and low and behold there were so many things to choose from besides apple butter! The owner was super nice and he even had samples of the apple butter. Lol we both sampled it! It was sooooooo delicious. I ended up purchasing apple butter, sweet potato butter, and orange marmalade in the nicely sized 18oz jars. The price wasn't bad either. Oh! And to my surprise that had the "no granulated sugar added" ones as well! Will definitely be back to get more! Had to contain myself this time or I would have gone overboard.

I got there around 1:15 and they were packing up. I'm thinking they were packing up early bc of the rain coming which it did come before 2pm. The area is cute with the square of shops around and a coffee shop across the street. That's actually how I recognized that I'd been to this farmer's market years ago. They had different vendors including food trucks, candles, knick knacks, costume jewelry, art, etc. i didn't end up there very long since they were packing up. Check it out on a nicer day. I think that I'm good with visiting it, but my first impression was that it was a nice set up and there are trees for shade and free parking around. Of course dog friendly too.

There is/was one (1) booth selling fresh produce, having the monopoly (good for them I suppose) which is what a "farmer's market" is supposed to be about. All the other side items such as house plants, jewelry, baked goods, soaps, art work, etc are flea market type things; unless there are multiple produce selling vendors then I might give those others a pass for being part of a farmer's market. There is a vendor selling pickled produce, so I should give them a pass I suppose. I will admit that along with some fresh produce and pickled products I did buy some bread goods, a couple of jarred spice rubs and a snack. Yet that still does not take away from the fact this really is not, in my mind, a true farmer's market. Those we interacted with were amicable and no hard sales pitches were encountered. However, with the lack of produce stands and the small size of the venue I have to give this a 2 star (could've been better) rating as a farmer's market. Will I return? Probably, but I won't go out of my way unless I desire a certain product I can't find closer to home (such as the bread items, which were delicious.

Its a spanish grocery store. They sell bakery items , meats and produce. Similar to Bravo or Unidos but smaller. Located in Polk Counter in Winter Haven area. They do not have a glass case for meats and seafood like other grocery stores - They pack the meats and seafood in styrofoam trays and priced and place in cooler shelves. So Oxtails are precut and they are sliced not too thick. Its good this way cause its easier to cook them. They have parts where you need to trim the fat. The prices ranges from $11-16 depending on weight. I bought an eggplant here also needed for my dish for $1.49 - No they are not chinese eggplants they are the huge ones like you see at walmart. The bakery cooler section they offer array of flans flavors and tres leches cakes. They also offer cookies and pastries in a regular shelf near the cash register. Staff here understand english if not you can always ask a customer to translate for you.

So narrow that you cant turn the buggy around, you have to back up. The aisles are blocked with items to be stocked on a daily basis, it is an obstacle course to shop.
