Moore's Animal Care Clinic - This is Luna

Moore's Animal Care Clinic

(10 reviews)

We have been going to Benny Moore for a while now and we won't go anywhere else!…read more $50 deposit and the rest due at pickup, for non routine visits. He has the lowest prices anywhere around. Our Rottweiler broke her canine tooth in a neighborhood tussle. We called the office right at closing and they waited for us to bring her. Benny kept her overnight for surgery to be done the next morning. He observed her after anesthesia and called us to come get her. Around 4pm. She was coming off the anesthesia and did sleep the whole rest of the day. He told us to serve her soft food for a week or so and she would be like new. She was. No problems at all. Our pitbull decided to get a hematoma on her ear that almost burst. Benny lanced her ear and put 2 buttons, yes buttons, in with stitches to help with healing the thin skin of her inner ear. Amazing. She did great afterwards also. Nothing above was over $150, for surgeries! Our pitbull got into some rat poison after we moved into a new house and we had to take her to a vet in Louisville, due to Benny being out of town, they charged us over $300 to give her charcoal to induce puking, and a shot to boost her immune system to fight off any left over poison. Benny saw her 5 days later for a follow-up, did blood work, clipped her nails and didn't charge me a dime after hearing how much I had to pay elsewhere. What vet do you know that will do that?! You won't be disappointed!

I have been going to benny moores animal clinic since my dog was a puppy. my dog didnt like him but…read morei did, he seemed like a good vet, a little rough on my dog but he helped her. towards may i took my dog (9 y/o) to his clinic, something was wrong with her. she was throwing up, couldnt stay on balance, wouldnt eat or drink, lost over 5 lbs. he said it was her diet. so he put her on chicken and rice. nothing got better and we knew it was towards the end of her life, he told us that she had a mass on her stomach the size of the green tennis ball and she has cancer and we could do surgery but it would cost thounsands and not even bet she would make it out alive, he didnt tell us anything hardly, he just kept saying its "her diet". we took her home spending the last few days we had with her in june and she was doing awful. we took her to hillside animal clinic a few days later in floyds knob and they told us she had that mass, cancer AND she was bleeding internally and was going to die in a few hours and were lucky we brought her in. we ended up having her put down but my baby wasnt scared this time, and im glad she got to rest like she needed. thank you hillside. fu moores.
