It is…read moreoften difficult to get quality contractors to even show up for a quote, never mind follow through on what they promise! When it came to our temporary fence needs and more importantly the final pool fence though, I cannot say enough about Russ Carter Fence. The fact that our project went so smoothly is so critically linked to the performance of the Russ Carter team. Russ professionally and methodically took me through every step of the process and made sure I had a thorough understanding of the expectations. He was always available, always super pleasant and is a true professional who takes each project seriously. All of the other key members of the team were seasoned professionals who clearly know their craft as well. Their approach to working with their client was so refreshing and appreciated! Kelsey was fantastic at every step of the way. She answered each of my 1 million questions and worked so hard with her team to schedule the different facets of our project to help me meet my schedule and deal with all of the many requests from the city. Ricardo and his team on the install side were absolutely perfect in every way! There were some difficulties on my site that I needed quite a bit of input and creativity to resolve, and Ricardo was outstanding in every way! He worked closely with me, dealt with a few stressful items with ease, and was a pleasure in every way. He knows his work, is calm, cool and collected, and has full control over his crews. Maybe most importantly, he always showed up when he said he would. Unfortunately it seems like more often people take the time to write reviews when they have something negative to say and don't do it often enough when a complementary one is warranted. It is very important to acknowledge the fantastic job the Russ Carter team did and how well they performed, every step of the way! Thank you for everything...

Until last week, I lived in the Detroit, MI area for my entire adult life (I'm over 50. Let's leave…read moreit at that). Then I arrived in sunny SW Florida. One of the hardest things about this move has been finding vendors and service people for all types of needs - doctors, a vet, a manicurist, an electrician - you name it. I don't have any type of area network to help me out. One of the things I needed before I arrived was a fence installed around my 1 acre+ property to make it doggie safe. I did the requisite on-line research and asked who I could for a recommend. Carter was not my husband's first choice, but Ken Carter, the owner, got on the phone himself and pleaded his case. He gave my husband his cell phone number, and worked with him on the price as closely as he could. After we approved his plans, he continued to work hard for us - making suggestions, keeping us informed, meeting our deadlines. Our beautiful new fence, with two electric gates and a dog run area, was finished last week, just after we arrived. I now know several of the workers by name and they all gave me their cell phone number and assured us that we could call. Anytime. Carter was not the cheapest estimate we had in our hands, but I have no doubt that it was the best. There just isn't any way their product, service, and people could be any better.
