I needed a last minute clean for either Thursday or Friday as I had been at the bedside of my dying grandmother all week and our house was just out of sorts due to not being home and my husband and toddler were at home and trying to get by with out any help. I was exhausted, depleted and really just needed someone to go in and straighten up, clean, and put away clean laundry so that when everything was said and done with my grandmother I could come home and just be able to rest and recover. I replied back to Cassie on Thursday at 12 after another company cancelled on me. She said she'd come by around 4 that afternoon and could work us in her schedule and possibly even get it done that afternoon. I explained the situation to her and told her I would have someone meet her to let her in. I was so relieved. My adult son left where he was and changed his schedule around so that he could be at the house at 330 to let her in. She never showed. I texted her to ask if she was coming, she never replied. Later that evening she said she could put me on the schedule for the next day. After asking about an estimate I said either way please put me on the schedule and let me know what time. She never replied. That morning around 9 am I texted her to ask what time she thought she'd be here and she said 10:30. I called my son and had him there to meet her. She never showed. I texted her at 1045, no reply. Called her at 11, no answer, left a message. Texted her again at 11:45. She replied at 130 that she couldn't make it and could do it the next day. By now it was too late. My toddler and husband were going to be home all day the next day and it's a small space- it really had to be done Thursday or Friday. Also by now we'd made 2 appointments that she ghosted. I'm sure it would have been the same had I made yet another appointment. Had she not strung me along I could have tried to find someone else but instead I'm stuck. It's not the end of the world- it's just cleaning to help me out. But geeze you can let a person know you can't make it or don't want to do it or whatever. And also I mean, come on. It's not only inconsiderate and unprofessional, it's just not nice to do to someone who is in survival mode and just needs a little help.

I want to address the -1 star immediately, this is due to price alone. In Miami, I booked a Move-out Clean and it was $315 - they were amazing and the home was about 1,700 SqFt (3 BR 2.5 Bth) - Move Outs cleans are ROUGH for sure. Here I booked a Move-in Clean, mostly for construction clean up and it was $370 for a 1,017 SqFt (2 BR 2 Bth) IMO the work was way lighter and I was quite shocked but they did do a great job. Some of the cleaners left steaks on the bathroom floors which easily show footprints but other than that I think the house looks amazing, I am still just getting over the sticker shock I guess.- I do apologize for the -1 star but I can't seem to get over the huge price difference for the home size and work required. The Cleaning Maids were Phenomenal - clear, concise communication, got in and out - sent me photos, and payment was a breeze - I would definitely use them again however, I think I would be shopping around first - again this is solely due to the pricing of services but maybe this is a higher-priced area...for cleaning.....
